Carver is a nice guy!




This isn't endgame, happens at the same time as the Bethany stuff.

Besides when he starts cracking out on Lyrium withdrawls, we'll have our revenge, lolz.

Technically Alistair wasn't a Templar!  It's more just the fact that he's your brother and you're an apostate mage and his twin was an apostate mage.  The rest of the family (mom and dad Hawke) spent their life trying to make sure you were kept safe and out of the circle, then he becomes an ass and decides he's going to dedicate his life to hunting down apostates?  Oh hell no, not in my family! >_>

leave them = templars or circle mage

This all but gurantees...I take Bethany with me EVERYTIME to the Deep Roads.

Sounds like Hawke does something Carver doesn't agree with and he decides to join the Templars because of it.

Possibly, and If not were wrong one of the review said about Carver took role as antagonist. If he were Templar and Hawke fully side with Mage rebellion?

This must be what the Dev's meant when they implied they're were plot reasons why Carver was only available to Mages and vice versa.

Any mention of anything about the "House of Tides"? I saw a website offering to give a dlc code for a DA2 ring if u bought some of their crap, some of it was for things with symbols for House of Tides and it was suspose to be DA2 related.

I think Carver rather be Grey Warden, it's best for him and If Hawke friendship/rivarly too low or not high enough it's forced to confront him?

Maybe your sibling is FORCED to join the grey wardens because they get infected by the taint!!!!!


Gaider mentioned that at certain points in the game we would deal with the fact that out PC isnt a grey warden and people around him might get infected when they fight darkspawn!!

Isn't it possible he had little choice but to join? There must be a reason he joins the Templars...but refuses to turn in his own brother/sister.  Or perhaps something the PC did pushed him to it.  I wonder if there's any information about the context of his joining either Warden or Templar ranks.

That makes sense. A file was found that said something along the lines of "tainted_sibling".

HOLY ****. I was playing around with the add party member menu in the debug, and chose anders. I swear to god I got anders character model right there. But then the game crashed

Exactly? How would everyone else deal with darkspawn blood and the taint then. I mean If Hawke is warrior...he goes slash...slash...smack darkspawn while roaring his battle cry wouldn't then risk himself of getting infected? But...if it's just your sibling then I'm fine.

Pretty much what I'm expecting. Leave them behind, Templar/Circle conscription. Take them along, taint infection; will you pull a Wesley or hand 'em over to the Wardens?

Oh that's nasty if that means u have to take your sybling with you on a long ass looking quest because I didn't really want to use them since I think Fenris will pwn Carver in the 2H and Anders/Merril will pwn Bethany in magic.
