Honestly it does seem like they all are.

1) the romances topic first post could be worded to imply that
2) the Isabela/Anders s/s kiss scenes in the code
3) the german magazine that said s/s romances had been expanded/improved and had that pic of M!Hake/Fenris

At least it's safe to assume Isabela is bi, and so is Anders and/or Fenris. And if it's Anders AND Fenris then obviously Merrill will be bi as well.

Still it would be great to have some more conclusive info.

Honestly, I'd normally  be against this kind of thing.  But you know what?  90% of me hopes they arent.  While the other 10% is kind of hoping they are? Why? So that I have motivation to keep my character(s) single and focus on the story/sidequests and less on (as I stated in another thread) what LI my character is going to have on this playthough lol.  Although, motivation to do so may be too strong of a word.  More like, I suppose, an "excuse" I think

I voted no and i say NO, simply because I disagree categorically. I reject this path. And if Anders is bi, I'll kill him. Without regret or remorse.

He will be totally uninteresting. I prefer a dead character than a major inconsistency in a story.

It is what it is really.  But as I stated before, if all the LIs being Bi really is the case, at least I wont feel "bad" for having my characters stay single during all my playthroughs

Anders was cerntainly not bi in Awakening (not that I mind if it's him). OTOH (spoiler!), he wasn't half-demon then either.

Fenris OTOH, looks almost androgynous in the concept art.

I really, REALLY hope that they are not all bi. No offense to anyone's sexuality in real life, but making ALL romance interests bisexual just feels really odd considering how small a portion of people in our own world that is bisexual (and the same percentage would most likely carry over to Thedas). One or two is fine, but four out of four does seem like going overboard.

Because, you know, in DAO Zev definitely stated a preference for women (regardless of how we feel about that), and yet he was still bi.

I don't know about you, but when I meet people they don't necessarily feel the need to sit me down and say, 'hey, catabuca, before we become friends I think I'd better tell you about my sexual preferences. You know, just in case you hear me saying I find someone sexy, you'd better know that I like men and women, just so you don't start thinking I only like one or the other.' You know, there are actual real life bisexual people who express an interest publicly for one particular gender while still keeping their attraction for the other gender somewhat private or for close friends only. It's true. There are many different reasons for that, but there you go.

Snark aside, it really doesn't matter how much Anders expressed his lust towards women in Awakening, the fact remains he didn't once say "Hi, I'm Anders and I am only attracted to women and I am definitely not attracted to men." Without that clarification, it's all to play for. Anything else is just basing it on a feeling you had while playing Awakening. And if we're basing the probability of Anders being bi on our feelings, then it's still all to play for, because there are some of us who felt he was straight, there are others of us who felt he was bi.

Yeah. I always took Anders on my team, every part of awakening, with Oghren and Nathaniel, sometimes Velanna. He has continued to dredge Velanna or my female Warden. Several parties with a male or female character. There is absolutely nothing that indicates he is bi, on the contrary, he feels disgust at one point.

It's just bad fanservice if Anders is bi in this episode, do not look any further.

We use the term "bi" in DA to refer to someone who is romanceable by either gender. But in terms of the actual personality of the characters, they're not likely all actually bisexual. Isabella certainly is, but maybe not Merrill. But that doesn't mean she can't be convinced through care and flirting that maybe she could love another woman after all.

That's how I see the Anders thing: He's not bi. In Awakenings, he's clearly straight and at the start of DA2, he is still straight. But IF a male Hawke shows real concern and love for Anders, perhaps over time he starts to see things in a new light, and finds himself falling in love in return, likely turning his worldview upside-down in the process.

It's not that every character is literally bisexual. Just that they can change.

If that's the line you're talking about, that didnt sound "bi" to me.  It sounds, to me, like Anders being his typical, snarky self.

The bolded part. And here we have the point I'm making. It did sound open to that interpretation to many others though. Because that interpretation was made by so many people independently, it's fair to say it's not out of the realm of possibility. You could be right, sure. But so could we. Your feeling about him is not the same as objective fact about his sexuality. That's all.
