One of the greatest things Origins and Bioware games in General do is making the choice of your gender actually matter more than switch out every He/him for she/Her. People reference your a women if you are.
By making every romance option Availble for everybody you'd be removing a part of this. 
If you want to add more Characters as Romance options for Gay/bi then go ahead i fully support that. But just don't make everyone Bi in the name of fairness. Because by making choices fair you no longer make them tough, or worse hardly even make them choices. 

I can get behind that. Maybe instead of 4 romance options, there should be 6:
1 straight male, 1 gay male, 1 bisexual male, 1 straight female, 1 gay female, 1 bisexual female

Everyone gets 2 options, and everyone is happy. :happy:

Actually, Im not a very religous person at all...At best, the closest thing you could relate my "beliefs" to is scientology.  And even then, that's barely within the same field lol.  I believe in science above all else.   And even magic, can be explained from a scientific standpoint.

To that defense, it is very possible that BW was basing the Alliance off of america's US Marines, or any branch of the US military.  To which Im referring to the "dont ask, dont tell" policy.  In a nutshell, if you were "outted" in the military, you were almost guaranteed to be "discharged" shortly after.

Possible... except they didn't. Homosexuality is very much accepted in the ME universe (at least among the humans around whom the novels centered). And we also know which direction DADT is heading.

Regardless, long story short, you're not comfortable with s/s romances and I'll at least give you credit for being honest about it and not going off on a bile-filled screed. Some people just plain aren't comfortable with certain traits in other people. Personally, I think that's your loss, but it's no skin off my back.

One day, we were at a cafe chatting, and while we were ordering our coffees, a girl began to flirt with me (it was rude of the girl to budge in in the first place, but yeah). She asked me for my number and all, and I gave it to her (she was my type), after which, said friend looked at me strangely and laughed at her, calling her a ******. Because of her reaction, I said, "Don't worry, I am, too."

She ignored it at first, and asked me a few minutes later if I was joking, before saying I didn't look gay because I was feminine. I told her she shouldn't be concerned with stereotypes, to which she told me I should have "disclosed your ****** tendencies" before I ever became her friend.

Suffice to say, we no longer speak. But it still bothers me that there are people who, should they somehow find out, would completely drop me even though my sexual orientation has nothing to do with them.

Apropos of nothing (or nothing current in this thread), I don't know how people got ninjamanced by Zevran. I wanted to romance him, and instead accidentally locked myself out of it because I was trying to play coy. I had to restart my game. My luck is so terrible.

You clearly said that if all LI were bi that you would be happy that all those fox news and praying people would be sad, Implying that the only people who care about that viewpoint are fox news and Praying people.

Just because you tip toe around saying something offensive dosen't make it alright. Take responsibility for your words and clarify if you don't mean what your originally implied.

I don't remember the whole conversation, but since I've just recruited him in my current playthrough I can probably check. I'm pretty sure there are references to Ferelden being a bit more "old-fashioned" than he's used to.

Dont get me wrong, I dont think you guys should be drawn out in the street and burned like witches or whatever.  It's just my own, personal views that make me not associate with said people.  I have a very "science" based opinion on the topic and well leave it at that.  It's nothing so trivial, in my opinion, as "Oh, you're different so ****** off".
Again, if this does turn out to be the case, more power for your "camp".  I wont cancel my pre-order or anything because of it.  I can be petty, but Im not that petty lol.  I'll just take the proverbial lemons given to me and make lemonaide so to speak by focusing my attention more on the other details of the game and less of the "romance" side of it.

You really aren't taking my advice about my posts, huh? Again. More shallow than pudding. Its hard to have serious discussions on BSN when, quite frankly, most of the posts take themselves too seriously. I've just about given up trying, so my posts are not typically serious nor do I care for those that are. But feel free to correct my grammar, I love free English lessons.

There is also the point that the writing team may not have wanted to cast him as homosexual in Awakenings. It is possible they had already intended on placing him in DA2, and weren't interested in any bisexual options. Its possible they changed their minds in DA2s writing process, realized the popularity of more M/M options, saw that there was an opportunity to take his character in that direction, and penned it accordingly.

I'm more interested in the writing process as opposed to the Fantasy Personality Canon of Characters Who Are Exactly This Way Because I Played The DLC And I Know Them Better Than You Due To Short Dialogue Trees.

But we will have this conversation March 8th when it turns out Anders loves to eat skittles and poop Rainbows because he is just that flaming.
