1.No, I'm simply responding to you. I have no Problem with your grammar other than the double negative. I don't have great grammar myself.

2.Yes Anders could be bisexual, I never denied that. I mereley said it would be a complete and utter copout for re Writing his character. And i Disagree that sexuality changes, but that's not really related to Dragon age 2 so i won't touch upon that issue. Also stop presenting your Opinions as facts. A study of sexuality is not a Scientific Law.

3.Because your post was offensive. I'll hold you responsible for your words as long as you keep posting Offensive attacks on outside issues such as Fox/Religion.

4.i Think i know quite a bit about him. I spent a whole 30 hours with him.

5.You give no indication your joking, If your joking write /sarcasm for not all of us can hear your tone through your text. And if you don't we will probaly think your Serious

2)  I don't think it would be a copout. But that is an issue of opinion. On another subject...

Speaking as a bisexual woman who is deeply engrained in the LGBT community, with a boyfriend born and raised into a loving Lesbian household with half a family of queers, sexuality is fluid. For some people, it is static. For most, it is flexible. This has been my experience. I doubt someone who is gay identified now would take kindly to being called a fake just because they were more interested in both sexes back in college. Same goes for straight identified.

4) Awakenings was an introduction to Anders. There really isn't enough information about him in that game. I've been replaying it. He is not who he was.

5) Speak for yourself. You are the only one who took my post seriously on this thread.

Yes. We're talking about fictional characters. They can be whatever the heck the writers want them to be for whatever the heck reason the writers want.

4.I'm not sure what you mean by "he is not who he was." But i disagree that was an introduction. Plenty of companions are in there who we will likley never see again. They all have fleshed out stand alone stories/personalties and we got plenty of time to see them.

I must say if that pic is photoshopped then the person did a damn good job. And if it's modded then kudos to the person who did it because it must have taken some work.

And the realism argument. My response is this: "We can't have something UNREALISTIC in a FANTASY game. I mean, an old lady can magically turn into DRAGON but people can't be more open to different sexual experiences. That's just stretching it."

my arguement is not that they can't. But i think it's Lame if they do.

It feels like I'm kind of dismissing the subject of discussion, nontheless.  So I'll add this.  25 hours of fighting enemies with maybe 1-2 hours of informal interpersonal conversation is not enough for a decent psychosexual profile, except to say that he's not the kind of individual who finds fighting Darkspawn sexually arousing.  Or if he does, he keeps that fact to himself.  So the entire thing seems slightly bizarre.

Oh MAiB, we all know where you stand on this, you know where everyone else stands on this. It's kinda getting boring now.

More party atmosphere and rampant speculation and betting. Yes, there must be betting and voting in the poll in the OP.

That would be 10 shades of sadness. How could Bioware make such a delicious-looking companion with such a hot accent and not make them an LI?

I assume it's a fairness issue. Like, adding a male LI and not a female one. I'd be okay with it, but I'd like to assume we would get an equally delicious lady DLC later on. :)

Is no fairness? Really? How about DLC with Leliana and *Witch Hunt* after DA:O?

Though O_o That picture with the improved lighting really does look real. :pinched: Oh god I can hear ishmael's gloating now.

I disagree, Within that 1-2 hours we learned Anders life history of his in and out's of the tower, thoughts on controversial Dragon age issues and got a good grasp of who he was.

2. Sexuality is fluid. I had to edit the original post because it wasn't clear. Sorry,  I did not mean to state "That is an opinion" because it isn't in my experience.

4. Awakenings was too short to give a clear indication of who the characters were. But even then, we knew far more about all the other Warden recruits than we ever did Anders or Justice. Anders was playful, sure. But what was his background? Where did he come from? What was his relationship with the other mages? Was there anything deeper in Awakenings other than his desire for freedom and adoration for cats? We know about Nathaniel's history, Oghren's issues, Sigrun's angst, and Velanna's background. Justice is a mystery and Anders equally so. That was the impression I got from Awakenings.

I don't think they'll all be bi. I would absolutely LOVE to be wrong, and even have a little bit of hope that I am, but I don't think they will all be bi.

2.But it is your opinion one study does not become scientific Law.

4.His backround was that he was a mage in the tower who was constantly locked up for constantly trying to escape, repeat 6 times and then we find him at Vigils. Nothing about Anders struck me as a Mystery.

Yeah, that picture is confusing. On one hand it does look very real with the new setting and the new outfits and all, but then again I can't get over the fact that Merrill's head doesn't match the rest of her body in colour, and when you zoom in on it there seems to be some pixelly lines here and there that might indicate photoshopping, but then again it might just be lighting effects/clipping/whatever in the game...

However, I don't need it to convince me THEY ARE ALL BI. I think that there's enough tingly hints for that anyway.

EDIT: And if it should happen it IS real then I love how Merrill's underwear look :P

I'm not sure what you pulled from it, but the only thing I learned in Awakenings about Anders is that he desired freedom, disliked the Chantry, loved cats, and was more interested in self preservation than anything in the world.

We had no deep insight. No history except "I hate circle and I escape lots!". At least, no DEEPER, PERSONAL history. He was very shallow, compared to the other DA:O & Awakenings characters.

He has a lovely personality, but we really don't know much about him. Heck. Even Justice didn't seem to know much about him. Because for all that sweetness and balance of character we SEEMED to think we knew in Awakenings, his scars and darker personality that had all but been hidden perverted Justice's character into Vengeance.

Anders is not who people thought he was in Awakenings. To me, it was a cover. Vengeance seems to prove this.

3) Again. Sexuality is fluid if you want to assume Awakenings Anders is canon.

That's you opinion/Theory.

Most everyone I know's sexuality is fluid and undefinable, including myself, family, and most of my exs. I've seen plenty of media also cover this subject. Then again, I'm not big on labeling myself and others, and consider most things undefineable when it comes to humans.

I'm of the opinion that Anders can easily swing both ways and that this was evident in Awakening.  But to your larger point, I agree.  A writer can do lots of things with a fictional character, but not without straining the faith of the audience.

As for whether they're all bi or not, I don't care except in that it seems excessively fanservicey and NO, it's not a fact that sexuality is a fluid thing for everyone.  I would prefer a variety of companions with different outlooks, as we had in Origins.  But with Isabela's knockers filling up the screen, you can hardly argue that fanservice isn't being made a priority.
