Anders talks plenty about Hating the chantry and templars,  how andraste would be Ashamed. 

In summary of his personality Anders is a Charming joking Fellow who hates templars and Enjoys Freedom so he can get a pretty girl on his arm. I don't think there's much more to him in dragon age 2. He simply will now have to battle a Spirit inside him and is going to have majior conflict with the chantry/mage war conflict. He never gave any hint at deeper complexity or underlined moral values, he just wants mages to be free. Thus why he Teams up with justice. 

Which is why he is back for DA2, for more character exploration.

Which will be the justice/vengance thing and his Previously Mentioned problem with chantry. Nothing that goes against what he originally Belieievd. Or that Contrast it. He is still the same Character, Just with an mad spirit inside him.

And how do you know this?

It's his Obvious plot point,
Like allistars family and Morrigans mom, It will obviously be a Majior part of his character. 

But not all of his character.
Just wondering, don't take offense, but is English not native tongue for you?

You can now flirt with people despite them not being LIs or sharing your preferences if they're not LIs (or in some cases are LIs).

I cast my vote in with the naysayers. IMO, wanting all the LIs to be bi is a pipe-dream, and Larry Slade taught us helpful those happen to be.

He may not be snarky anymore. Most of what you're stating about his role in DA2 is an assumption. You can't state anything for sure until DA2 comes out and we see. 

Either way, Anders isn't the point of this thread, though I am fairly certain at this point that he is either the m/m LI or they are all bi options. Either way, I think he digs Hawke & is a converted Hawkesexual.

Why does it matter so much??  Seriously, why?  I could see it if you had a particular fondness for one of the characters and were hoping to be able to ship according to taste.  But some on the forum seem to regard it as some kind of triumph of pansexualism or something.  And this is why people on other gaming forums talk about these games as dating sims.

Pansexuality is a good thing in my opinion. 

Making a character straight who could be convincely (note: in character) bisexual, is torturing those who can see it. It's like a baby that can't quite reach it's spoon.

On a personal level, I would probably prefer the games if they expended the efforts used to make romances in other areas of the game.

But on a social level, I recognize that many other people value the romance plotlines in the games.  I know you use the term dating sims as a perjorative, but they do have their entertainment value to some people.  And since I know they've already expended the effort on the dating sim elements, I wish for others to be able to enjoy their particular pursuit in that regard.  So, y'know, I care because other people care.
