It could be and it couldn't.

If all they do is turn the "bisexual flag" on for the straight LIs... yeah, that would be terrible. If they have written each character so that they are truly bisexual, then it doesn't have to lead to shallow storytelling.

Since they would then be parceling out the resource pie, each slice is going to be thinner, and the individual romance story lines would then be less developed than what we saw in Origins.

But since reviews are saying that there is less character depth than in Origins, this might be what we're going to get anyway.

Exactly. He feed on our tears with Alistair and he'll feedon them with Fenris.  Frankly I don't know why our tears are better than others but he likes them!

Couldn't you also make that argument about just 2 of the LIs being bi as well? And look how that manages to work out just fine. You can keep arguing that having 4 bi LIs would mean all romances were crap, but that doesn't make it fact. They are writers and they have a pride in what they produce. If they have decided to create 4 bisexual characters, it will have been handled with the same care and consideration as 2 straight, 2 bi would have. They have no desire to see their work look like ****.

They are salty, and do wonders for his complexion, and when Gaider has perfect skin, his writing skills increase by 30%.
