"There are no homosexual romances in DA2"

~2 million pre-order cancels in the first day, another 7 million by the end of the first week...every fan fiction annihilated, all our fan girls on the run, regrouping, somewhere. Reports are coming in from other major sites, its a well coordinated marketing campaign, and so far it had been damned effective. Don't know why they've done this, who they are, or what their goals are...only one thing is certain: If Laidlaw doesn't bring help soon, there won't be a DA left to burn...

It seems possible with recent developments...

But I'm not getting my hopes up. At all.

Between the use of the German word aufgestockt and my own tendencies, I'm going to go with a yes.

Now to hope it happens.

Yes, ME2 style "romance" Maker preserve all us warm blooded creatures from that...  However, there is hope, that cutscene with Isabella jumping male Hawke, nothing like that in ME2.

I know you have your reasons not to like Mass effect 2. But a bit of objectivity doesn' t hurt. :P
The scene with Isabella looks almost exactly like that of Jack jumping on shepard. Pragmatic Version sex. ;)

That's what I was thinking.  When I say I don't want ME2 style romance, I mean I don't want a brief cutscene suggesting a roll in the hay and a couple rushed conversations.  Honestly I thought the Origins romances could have been a lot more developed than they were.  It just sounds like we're going in the other direction, though.

Guess we'll see.

I hated the DAO sex scenes. I'm asexual, seeing the sex act makes me uncomfortable (for various reasons. I don't think sex is icky, I just don't like it being forced on me in a game and stuff) and it's not my bag. The ME2 scenes were much better and more my preference. I just don't want awkward underwear sex with Enya*porn music playing in the background this time.

But hey, YMMV.

@Meta - it's fade to black stuff this time, apparently. Although there will be varying degrees of making out first, which may or may not make you uncomfortable. But there will not, I believe, be any dry humping awkwardness.

I also hope the romances aren't like ME2. In ME2 the romances felt extremely shallow, and were all about the sex really.

Yeah Jack's dialogue was great, but the other hand the "conclusion" was lame as hell.

I'm... wavering. 50/50 maybe. I'm not a natural optimist.

I can't believe you'd even consider that they're all bi, given some of you previous posts.

So you get hypothermia, and the users supporting all bi become lava statues.

Once again, cautious neutrality is the way to go.
