This is very not Mass Effect related.

There is a off topic section.

Also I'll go for Star Wars trilogy( original one) and Lord of the Rings.

The title of this post reminded me of:

"Derek Zoolander's Center for Children Who Can't Read Good and Want to Learn to Do Other Things Good Too."

I know it is literary and not a movie or game, but I thought that the Mistborn trilogy as a whole was amazing, and that the third book was the best of the three.

The Aliens trilogy.  Wait, was there a fourth movie?  No, no, you must be mistaken.  Quadrilogy isn't even a real word.

There were only two Alien movies. Anything that came after should be shunned or beaten with sticks.

Along with popular nominations like SW(original), LotR and the Indiana Jones TRILOGY :police: I would like to add the Clint Eastwood/Sergio Leone collaborations. Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

What's with the Star Wars love?

Ewoks people, EWOKS! A great movie ruined by creatures from an acid trip (and toy franchise promises).

The Godfather, Back to the Future, Toy Story.

Peter F. Hamiltons Night's Dawn trilogy is the best literary experience I have ever had, although I have some nitpicks about the ending. Most significant among those nitpicks is the speed of the ending, which I felt was a little rushed. I mean, the main character spends the entire third novel searching for specific, let's call it "artifact", and doesn't actually find it until there are less than 50 pages left in the book (I think - it's been a while since I last read the trilogy), and when the book is about 1200-1300 pages long, that's a somewhat rushed ending.
But as a whole the Night's Dawn trilogy is incredible, and has a pretty good ending that I definitely didn't see coming.

That's deus ex machina in the most literal sense you can imagine. Given that, the rushed part seems appropriate. In fact, the Void trilogy wasn't dissimilar in its ending.

Haven't read the Void trilogy yet. Looking forward to it though. For now it's just sitting there on my shelf, waiting for me to finish Judas Unchained.

Halo Trilo----

Wait. You go missing somewhere in space. Don't want that to happen. Only game trilogy I know a lot about. Cause Technically ME isn't a trilogy. Yet.

Actually, everything that transpired in those three films can be attributed to one very minor character. So, really, the ewoks didn't do very much at all.

Except Godfather III was made only so that Copolla could pay his bills. He only intended to stop it at Godfather II.

The film starts at the end, and then works its way back to the start. The protagonist has a problem that scuppers his long-term memory, so each chunk is the last thing he can remember. It's a great film, go see it. Here's a trailer.
