Atari still wants to sell more copies of this game?

I think so at least...so I will ask them if they want to place some ads and give them some tips on where to place them.
I got some examples...like:

http://www.mmorpg.com
Gaming newspapers
Xfire
You got some more examples?

But then again, I think NWN's done well, outselling most of the other Bioware titles. Except the console titles, but that's got a lot to do with marketing and swindling Halo players into buying Mass Effect.

To be fair, Atari's habit of not promoting their products at all might be better than the fail that is EA advertising.

That's us.
I go on YouTube and I see people still making lots of NWN videos, or recommending it in online polls or when "Good games for netbooks" threads pop up in various forums I'll see NWN mentioned. If you know little kids around 10 years old with a decent computer, NWN is perfect. It so beats the crap out of Runescape. Anyway, keeping the game in people's minds like that and providing a link for them to buy it at GOG is a great way to get people to try it.
And as I've been saying for years, if someone can make a load of anthropomorphic ("furry") NWN content, it has the promise to get a huge number of people playing NWN, especially with the price of NWN and NWN's system requirements. There is a huge furry community out there and they're either playing on Furcadia or Second Life and both of those aren't good options for the kind of playerbase.

@SuperFly_2000: Steam would be very nice. Do you know anything about the Impulse deal to digitally distribute NWN Diamond? Are they affiliated with GOG and if not I wonder who made the installer and so on.

However...sending a message to Impulse also is probably a good idea...
Who knows...maybe some interest in this ol' game pops up somewhere. There HAS been an increase in sales lately...so....

Right, I don't know either where all these Planescape and Ravenloft freaks come from. It's not like that's got anything to do with D&D. Or has it?

Impulse is completely seperate to GOG and is part of Software developer/publisher called Stardock, as for the inststaller i would think it will be similar to the one on GoG.

Regardless, no one is going to take the time, or spend the money to actually get a Plutonium version of NWN released. They can, and DO, sell it just fine via digital downloads now, with all the associated issues of immediately having to patch with the same content you downloaded.
Most game companies are releasing content in such a way that on Release day, the game has to be patched to be workable anyway. It's bad from an end user standpoint, but appears to be totally workable from their viewpoint. Get it past the judges with a buggy version, then patch in content as you can.
