"Original purchasers" in this case refers to those who pre-ordered before the March 8 promotion. So those who pre-ordered a few months ago get the added hound, mirror, etc. If you pre-order now you will only received the shield and sword.

No. The signature edition stuff was different. Original Purchasers is people who purchase it new. As in you won't get those if you purchase a used copy.

I wouldn't necessarily trust the first opinion from a guy on the internet. Personally, I'd say that you get the "original purchaser" stuff if you buy a copy of the game from BW (as opposed to second hand), with additional incentives if you commit to buying the game well before the release

I think i might pre-order it from Play then as you also recieve a code for a new amulet as well. Although i was a bit sceptical as there was no mention of the bonuses that Bioware annouced ( shown in first post). So does this mean, if i get it from Play that they i wont get the sword and sheild and just the amulet, or will i still get both ? sorry I'am a bit of a noob.

You probably will get all the items with a pre-order from any store really. The bonus items will come a little "Plastic/paper" note inside the package where you'll get a key to redeem your items with.

But if you want to be sure you can always try to check their site for supported retailers.

Well Play was one of these supported retailers, but no mention fo the bonuses, just the amulet Play will give you.. Hence why i was unsure. But thank you for your help.

Alright I actually looked it up for you. If your from the UK and want to buy it from Play your guranteed all the bous items as listed on their site under Game Info - "Pre order NOW"

The war hound, the mirror and access to the special stores are available to the original purchaser of the game; just like the cerberus network code was included for the original purchaser of Mass Effect 2. It's an inducement to purchase the game new; it has nothing to do with pre-ordering.

As for your pre-order items: if you purchase a boxed copy of dragon age 2, be wary of claims that a voucher for your pre-order items is IN the box. You should receive one (or more) sheets when you pick up the game which should have your pre-order codes on them. A few local game stores in my area were telling customers who had pre-ordered ME2 that the coupon for their items were included in the box, which is ridiculous, of course. How would the packager of the game know which boxes were going to pre-orders and which weren't? Be wary.

No, don't say that.
It is a bit strange indeed but the bonuses on the site might not be updateded. I'm sure Bioware wouldn't lie and tell you, you can pre-order from Play and receive the bonus items.

But if you feel un-secure you can send Play an Email via their Help page next to the My Account button.
