Hi all, i was just thinking since PC gamers get SW:ToR (Yeah i know alot of people hate on it and i'm on of them and the pc gamers mostly hate it no one likes paying for a game every month)Why dosen't Bioware make Kotor 3 for consoles since the PC gamers get some kind of kotor atleast but the console gamers don't.Bioware do something smart make Kotor 3 for the consles (Xbox 360,PS3).Paying every month for the same game is robbery you're just filling you're pockets and forgeting what fans want.Do something smart atleast one part of the gaming community to be happy.Come on both Kotors were amazing games and the both parts we're games of the year if i recall correctly so why ruin the greastest game ever maid with some sort of WoW copy MMORPG.Please Bioware make this happen atleast for the console users.

In any case, it is not Bioware's decision. Lucasarts owns the rights to anything SW.

SWTOR is KOTOR 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 and 10.
Its not like you need a super computer to play SWTOR.

Hawke92, do something smart: Stop talking nonsense. MMO with subscription are not for everyone. But for a lot of player it's the most profitable business model. If it's not for you just stop denigrating it especially without argument.
And what the fan want will be decided by the number of player than ToR will be able to gather.
And for the future, I think lucas art has stopped giving the license to developpement studio after ToR so it will probably never happen.

I am afraid I do at least partially agree I loved both the KOTOR games and the first one is still probably my favouroute games of all time I waited for years checking google hoping for a glimpse of KOTOR 3 then before I knew it was even been made it was cancelled and a MMORPG was been made instead,
I have kids a wife and also most importantly and most differently from your typicle MMORPG player a life,
I need to be able to save my game and come back to it in a few days without worrying that a group of geeks that have nothing else in there lives have kicked me out of there clan or guild or whatever.
I also love and I know some people have a different opinion I love my Xbox 360 achievements to which playing this online on PC there will be non.
In this day and age surely MMORPG could be ported to consoles.
To me it feels like Bioware and/or Lucas Arts have turned their back on the casual console gamers and missed out on a money making opportunity at the same time.

ToR is not KotOR 3, AFAIK it's set 300 years outside of the KotOR timeline and from what we've seen leeked of it, it's fair to say they've retconned most of TSL if this is to be compatible.
I'd love to see KotOR3 made, but just for consoles would be a joke; right now, were coming on a verge of the next generation of consoles (every 6-7 years a new "generation" of consoles happen) and current consoles are woefully underpowered compared to even a $500 computer (which is cheaper than a new PS3, here in Australia). Also considering the modding scene that became of KotOR and TSL, it'd be a shame to have it on any platform that would dissalow mods.
I would really still love a KotOR 3, if it came out on a console I'd buy a damn console just to play it.
Tl;dr: PC isn't getting anything "KotOR" anytime soon and, unfortunately, neither are consoles.

Why can't they make it for both consoles and the PC?

What kind of logic is that.. Yeah, they canceled it in 2005, but after ME3 I don't see why they can't make a third. So many people loved the first two, it would only make sense.Mister Mida wrote...
