Which companions should i bring to different planets?
I believe some of them have quests and may interact with people i meet.
So which companions should i bring and where?

You can get the companion personal quests on any planet once you've proceeded far enough in their respective conversations.
Other than that, your party members have various amounts of banter/commentary regardless who you take with you. Experiment and find out.
Note that you can't take Bastila to Korriban.

You can also switch them on different planets.
Canderous has some funny banter with both Bastilla and Carth on Tatooine and again on Korriban near the beginning with Jolee.
I tend to look at the situation and see what kind of help I might need and then switch it up as much as possible.
You'll want Jolee on Manaan to activate his personal quest, but you can change him out once it's over.
Canderous and HK47 have some of the best banter.
