The quotes were gratuitous, but if you look at it as a comic, it's pretty cute, i.e. "Isn't there too much melee for me to be in the party? Brother! Why didn't you... roll mage?!" and then "No! Carver! My son! I'll never forget you... (maybe I should've pressed A)!"

Silly, but moderately amusing.

It actually makes the DA2 thread funnier because it references some of those other jokes.

And both are quite true in my opinion. Yes they are over the top but the content shows how many PC gamers and RPG old school RPG fans feel about Origins and now Dragon age 2.

Also here Origins was really made for the PC with all these changes compared to the console version why Dragon Age 2 was esspecially made for the console crowd.
