The camera pans out from the beacon.

Standing there in a frozen forest, somewhere in Canada are the Doctors of Bioware.
All of them look at each other confused by what they just saw.
"No one will believe what we just saw" one of them says
"So we will make them believe"
"How?"
"We will make a videogame company and create a game called Mass Effect, this will be the only way we can warn people of what is to come"

Fade to black.

I just ruined Galaxy for paragons and Earth for renegades. So there would not be too happy ending either pro alien, or pro human players. Death and destruction for both. Rest of it depends what else happened ingame. Blue babies or whatever people are planning. My paragon Shepard just wants to leave and stay out of any messes there will be. Saving galaxy 3 times is enough. My renegade cares only his own butts wellfare.

If that mystical human superiority is ever achieved, we just start again to do what we do best. Killing each others for stupid reasons, becouse there is no real outside "enemy" to unite us.

There need to be multiple, multiple endings:

Paragon Ending: You play the game as a Paragon, you defeat the Reapers and live happily ever after. Everyone for the most part is happy.

Renegade Ending: You defeat the Reapers as a Renegade. You could live happily ever after but some may have a sour taste in their mouth.

About the renegade ending. I've just saved the entire galaxy, If someone is put off by the way I did it they can kiss my ass.

I'd prefer something that is not bittersweet. Either a complete success or a complete failure.

I definitely want a good sacrifice ending for my Shepard, but sort of like Sunshine where you know from pretty early on that you're not going home after you save the galaxy. The Collector Base was just likely to be a suicide mission. I want to see one that's certain to be.

Well, reapers gonna reap.

Also, why exactly should renegade mean evil?

I have no idea. I always looked at it this way: a paragon wil risk the mission to save a team mate, while a renegade would risk a team mate to save the mission.

Going out in a blaze of glory. Shepard is in the center of the last reaper, husks are descending upon them by the thousands, a nuke is suppose to go off, but it can't with out a manual over-ride, which can't be done with out some one staying behind.

He looks back at his team, telling them to run, he's going to stay behind. As they run off shepard begins to fire his pistol at the over-whelming amount of Husks, his team vanishing in the distance. As shepard initiates the nuke he fires his last round, and the thermal clip pops out, hitting the floor as time seems to slow down. It bounces up off the floor, hits the ground, once more, hits the ground, and comes to a still. The camera pans back up to shepard, his face shows a range of anger, happiness, lost, love, all while realizing this IS IT. As he swings forward with his fist he punches a husk in the face

than we hear the beeping of the nuke before it goes off. Kick back to normal time motion, the husks leap over Shepard, piling on top of him. We see his arm shoot out in the form of a fist

than...BOOM

The nuke goes off, his crew escapaes, and the reaper begins to explode falling into decay.

Shepard is honored as a hero within the Galaxy. A statue is erected in his honor in the middle of the Citadel. All recognize the sacrifice he made, not just for humans, but for all life forms. Broken relations are mended, all civilizations come to appreciate what they have, and for once, there is peace.

What I really care is the how well does Bioware wrap up the story, if we are given the power to affect the actual outcome, that would be great!

Also, relationship between Shepard and LIs should be more in depth, especially the LI from ME, given what they haven been through, there should be some moment that really touched each other, and that is what I really like to see.

uh... virmire survivor anybody? no way of getting around that, also mass effect 1's ending means you're willing to sacrifice the lives of many to save the mission no matter what you end up choosing, the only real difference is that renegade shep isn't afraid to burn bridges

Multiple endings don't seem entirely needed to me, but moreso quality endings. I don't want to feel ripped off once I've beaten the game. I don't want to feel like it was rushed, hell I don't even want the series to end.

A chance for a happy ending at least. After all Shep and the crew has done they deserve some peace and joy and all that stuff.

I want there to be at least the possibility of a happy ending with the LI that you choose. Not that it hasto be for every ending--multiple possible endings like in DAO is fine. But I want there to be the possibility of riding off into the sunset with Kaidan. No tragic/epic self-sacrifice on his or Ash's part.

If there isn't a happy ending with my favorite VG character/LI of all time, the whole series is going to be ruined for me.
