caeron99 is much like my son's ex. He gave her everything she asked for and she complained about THAT! My gods,, find ANY mainstream game where homosexuality is portrayed so openly, play it. Then you can complain about the developers lack of putting out for you personaly

I think the creators get a pretty large say in who the characters are- they created them. They probably are pretty emotionally invested in them, too, and who are you to criticize that? The fact that they went into such depth to create the people we love in other ways shows they that weren't about to skip over such a potentially important feature. Sexuality is a a part of that character, even if it is not his/her defining characteristic. The fact that ONE player is throwing a hissy fit about it isn't going to do anything.

It is a cheap exploit.

It has, at this point, been explained by several people: characters must be defined.

You remind me of my son's ex. She asked for everything at the divorce hearing. He agreed. She complained that he wasn't supposed to agree. Some people are just born stupid/angry/stupid and angry. If you won the lottery you'd spend countless hours moaning (loudly) that you had bought TWO tickets and wasted a dollar.
Find a game that gives you the opportunity to romance trees if you want. Then you can scream about how the stupid developers left you nothing to look forward to.

This is absolutely ridiculous. This is NOT A SANDBOX GAME. You cant do whatever you want. If you want a sandbox game go play fallout 3 or the elder scrolls games. Alistair is obviously a straight character in the game. I'm sorry, but having a gay relationship with Sten would make literally no sense. This game has set characters and they all have distinct characters.

To the OP: There are no gay party members in the game. There are two bisexual characters, who are in fact bisexuals and not simply lacking a gender check. If you truly think that being given insufficient homosexual variety is discrimination, then... well, there's not much to talk about. I'll always opt to include such content when I can, even in a limited fashion, and while I encourage advocacy you're not exactly making a persuasive argument here.

Sorry you didn't have the option to have a romance with the character you'd preferred. I imagine you're not alone. Perhaps next time you will.

EDIT: And I'm locking this down, as its clearly headed downhill fast -- as such incendiary statements would, whether they were on this topic or not. If someone wishes to start such a discussion again, I suggest doing so in a moderately calmer fashion. And in the spoiler forum, please, if you want to be so specific.
