I see what your saying, I don't agree or disagree. That's just the way bioware created the game, just wait for someone to mod in a gay allistair romance.
Allistair is more appealing than Zevron, can't always get what you want dude.
I wanted a lesbian romance with Morrigan but ended up happy with Leliana.(I'm a straight dude by the way)

I think the creators get a pretty large say in who the characters are- they created them. They probably are pretty emotionally invested in them, too, and who are you to criticize that? The fact that they went into such depth to create the people we love in other ways shows they that weren't about to skip over such a potentially important feature. Sexuality is a a part of that character, even if it is not his/her defining characteristic. The fact that ONE player is throwing a hissy fit about it isn't going to do anything.
I fed the troll, and it bit my arm off.
Perhaps my rant won't. But why do they need to define an npcs sexuality? I game a ton, and you don't need to invest that way.
It is a cheap exploit.
It has, at this point, been explained by several people: characters must be defined.

I'm pretty certain it will happen, sooner rather than later

Hell, why even define their personality? Why don't they just make all NPC emotionless, sexless, raceless, ageless, blank slates so that every player can define every NPC exactly the way they want to.caeron99 wrote...

Exactly what I was saying. I want Morrigan in bright clothes frolicking in a field of flowers with small animals. To hell with the developers, it's my game.

Exactly! That would make this amazing, story driven game much more interesting! *sarcasm* << (just realized that rhymes with orgasm)

Find a game that gives you the opportunity to romance trees if you want. Then you can scream about how the stupid developers left you nothing to look forward to.

Oh man have encountered people like that, I'm glad your son's rid of her!Ciassa wrote...
You remind me of my son's ex. She asked for everything at the divorce hearing. He agreed. She complained that he wasn't supposed to agree. Some people are just born stupid/angry/stupid and angry. If you won the lottery you'd spend countless hours moaning (loudly) that you had bought TWO tickets and wasted a dollar.

On my Rogue save he chose to DIE instead of bang Morrigan
That guy is 100% gay (On that save anyway)
As for him not putting out well , does that really make him not gay?
Hes gay alright , he just doesn't put out

Yep, he must be gay. Or, ummm, he just doesn't want to bring an unholy demi-god demon spawn into the world. I guess.

Whatever circumstances aside , straight virgins don't turn down sex with a hot chick
Even if the circumstance is that the chick will give birth to a freakish paragon kid who she will (SPOILERS .. like anyone cares anyway!) use her moms techniques to take over that childs body one day and herself basically become a God(ess)

Oh come on, that's like saying you're gay to turn down sex with a hot chick if you're a virgin but she has AIDS. Except you doing it will mutate into some Super-AIDS that's contagious from mere proximity and will likely kill everyone in existence.

Some days it just doesn't pay to come here.
To the OP: There are no gay party members in the game. There are two bisexual characters, who are in fact bisexuals and not simply lacking a gender check. If you truly think that being given insufficient homosexual variety is discrimination, then... well, there's not much to talk about. I'll always opt to include such content when I can, even in a limited fashion, and while I encourage advocacy you're not exactly making a persuasive argument here.
Sorry you didn't have the option to have a romance with the character you'd preferred. I imagine you're not alone. Perhaps next time you will.
EDIT: And I'm locking this down, as its clearly headed downhill fast -- as such incendiary statements would, whether they were on this topic or not. If someone wishes to start such a discussion again, I suggest doing so in a moderately calmer fashion. And in the spoiler forum, please, if you want to be so specific.
