Hey, EA, you know what might be a good idea to get those downloads you want so badly? How about actually advertising them outside of the forums for a change? Only do it in a tasteful manner, for the love of God, I'm sure I don't need to remind you about this.

Do you even realize how hard it is to get into your promotions if you don't actually "live" in these forums? I've lost count to the amount of times that I saw a really cool promotion that I missed because I'm not constantly on these forums to know about them. Aren't you supposed to try and drawn in those that aren't your most hardcore fans? You know, those that like your games but also like to play other stuff too?

And basically, the same can be said about this demo: next time you want your stuff to be played by a million people divulge it to a million people so they know that it freaking exists!

EA and their facebook promotions. I went to my local shopping centre a couple of months ago where there was a big stand dedicated to EA and one of the women who worked there basically dragged me over to the computer and forced me to share their promotion on my Facebook page.

Anyway... My guess is they got some numbers from M$ or $ony and updated. I don't believe those were automatically added into the counter.

I looked this morning (feb 28) and it was about 850,000 and i got home today at 5 and it siad we won? O well i'm not complianing but I think everyone knows bioware fixed it somehow lol.

It's nice that we got the 2 items but spamming my facebook for some tome that I'm sure is already in the disc or just gives some extra skill or something isn't worth it . If it unlocked a quest or equipment then a lot more people would do it but tomes that just give experience and money...well we can get that playing the game. Besides getting a free level up at the start feels kind of cheap.

BTW It doesnt say that the impressions need to be from different users.
So,  1M comments/332,008users who like DA. Its only a matter of making 3 comments each XD (and a few more).

No its just a general thing like the demo thing everyone has the tomes whether you played the demo or not. 

oh well i figured they gave you the first two tomes if you signed in to the demo(as they do give you the option to sign in to EA) and it unlocked to those people only. good to see i wouldnt be missing out on this third tome then

There's no way we'll hit a million of this new sca- promotion.

1 million demo downloads across 3 platforms is one thing, but for a million people to go to the dragon age fb page and hit "share" on that link, when there's only 330k fans on fb anyway... unlikely.
