150k people downloaded and played it on their EA accounts within 6 hours?...not likely...not that i care atleast we get free stuff...and from Bioware...Win=Win:)

That or the counter on the website was just plain screwed up.

I admit Bio is making us work us for their advertisement and the book may not be worth it however it is just a simple push of the button under their post. I'm sure we all can over come this test as well. Let us just hope that they don't put up a Myspace or Twitter one because that would be going a lil too far.

I have an odd feeling about this being the "final Tome" .... I'm guessing it will be followed by an even more final tome which to unlock we have to personally go door to door to everyone in our town/city/village converting them to dragon age........Bioware are magnificent Bastards..

Congratulations, You DID IT!

We challenged our fans to reach 1 million downloads of the DragonA ge 2 demo, and we have all helped to reach and beat this goal! As such, the 2 items we promised are now unlocked and will appear in your entitlements page.

Now, a new challenge has appeared. The third and most powerful tome is waiting to be unlocked. To unlock the tome “Of Things Not Lost” visit the Dragon Age Facebook page and share that days post. If each post from now to March 4, 2011 is shared and reaches 1,000,000 Impressions the day it is posted the tome will unlock.

You unlocked the first 2 tomes, now you can unlock the third and final one. Watch the Dragon Age Facebook Page like what is posted and unlock the final tome. :)

You lost me on facebook.
Cant help there.

I don't get it. People can spam up my fb page with every insipid detail about their farming game, tell me every minute detail of their life, leave cryptic messages meant to entice you to ask them 'what does that mean', and 'is everything ok?' but fans of this series can't share a post once a day for four measly days?

In the flood that is Facebook it will be washed under the tide of 'so and so uncovered a new egg in farmville' and 'someone you don't like answered a question about you, find out what they said!' and of course the 'omg check out this video guys!'

Your friends and family won't think less of you, people will find out about your dirty little Rpg secret, and you'll walk away the proud owner of dlc that wouldn't have come into being without you (maybe).

Kudos to all those who helped to reach the goal! And cheers to those who help with this one.

I think many people who downloaded and played the demo will join me in refusing to spam their facebook friends on a daily basis to give a computer game free advertising for the reward of an in-game *wait for it* book.  1,000,000 per day?  You are aware that only 333,000 people have even been willing to 'like' Dragon Age 2, right?  I loved Origins, I'm very much looking forward to playing DA2, but given that I haven't played more than a stripped-down demo of it I find it somewhat insulting to be asked to shill for a company whose game I will already be paying for the privilege to play.
Sorry to be a grumpy old man, but this 'challenge' is too blatant a free advertising ploy and I'll pass on their future 'challenges' as well.  I know they seem like two very different things, but this 'Spam Your Friends for Tomes!' campaign reeks of paying real money for 'Horse Armor' in another vastly popular single-player RPG: does the virtual reward justify what you're doing in the real world to obtain it?
