That is my main unlike about FB... the peeping and spying and from that controlling.
Had to edit out to many "finger jumps"

The promo circus with items is getting a bit much. Originally I had wanted to avoid the demo, to be unspoiled for the release day - but I couldn't miss an in-game item.
Ah well, you'll have to make the latest challenge without me (and probably will), it will be a cold day in hell before I sign up to Facebook.
Would love to help, but...pretty much this. I did my part for the demo, that's as far as it goes. To quote Shale quoting Monty Python: "Have fun storming the castle."

I'm glad XBox Silver came on line in certain timezones and that was able to push us over.
More DLC is always good.
Sadly, I won't participate in the FaceBook challenge. (But if we win I won't use the item as that wouldn' t be fair.)
I'm old. I believe computers are an anti-social activity.

Old has nothing to do with itFor me it is more my impression that FaceBook is for peeping what other peoples do... especial good for journalists an peoples living like paparazzies. In this electronic age I put down electrinic footprints all over, driving along a road, being counted and numberplates read, making a phonecall, being put into some sort of memory... SO WHY should I freely put myself on a peeping page.
Well said SoleSong, my feelings as well. Though, I'd add "Who buys all the information, if Facebook is ever sold?" I mean any marketing company could benefit greatly from free access to all that information, not to mention those with more sinister intentions.
Not that I consider FB to be all evil, mind you, and it's probably done far more good then ill, but still there's certainly room for abuse. Besides, I do enjoy some measure of privacy in my internet usage. Hell, if I didn't I'd just use my real name on the internet all the time and never bother with an alias/username like "Kerethos".
And I'm also too damn lazy to check it a few times a day, like most I know do. All that: "Yes, free time! Must check FB and like my friend’s pasta lunch!" is just not my thing... useful or not.

Hm! Evil dont need to buy FB. Evil can just only make a program to "read" FB with, put it in some sort of database and then do Evil. It is as easy as that.

Listen, if my family & best friends can't convince me to do it, this whole Facebook, Twitter, or even Myspace or whatever else is out thier, You sure can't. My Social Networking days died during early days of AOL & the internet, from there I realized, I don't want to reach out touch anyone, cuz they might touch me back with thier F'd up selfs

I really hope the final game would be worth all this extreme promoting/PR/advisting.
Because that's what it really matters, not all this nice DLC stuff.

From the responses on this thread, it would seem that for every dedicated DA fan that is jumping at the chance to help Bioware's department do their job, there are another 3 or 4 (or at least 1 or 2) who have a sour taste in their mouths.
Still feeling gung ho Mr Priestly?
Yes, because Priestly was the one who wanted to do these DLC incentives in the first place. <_<
