This basically.  I have a facebook page simply because its an easier way of staying in touch with my family who lives in Texas, as I live in Michigan.  Of course I have a few friends that I stay in touch with the same way but Im not going to send them "spam" about a game that possibly only one of them may like.  And chances are, he wouldnt so Im not even going to go there lol.

This is really getting ridiculous. I guess it's good PR and all. I hate Facebook, no interest to me at all. Fortunately for Bioware my husband doesn't share my feelings. He likes the games and plays several of them so he's helping out. And I guess I can look at it a few times or something when he logs on to push up the numbers. But really. EA. Bioware. Don't you have a team of professionals that you PAY for this sort of stuff? Downloading the demo and signing up for the newsletter is one thing, spamming advertisements (or having your fans spamming each other on your behalf in this case) is another entirely. Shame on you. Shame!

This is hilarious. How many page views or "likes" or "shares" or whatever you get on Facebook should be a measure of your popularity. Now they dangle this carrot in front of us so we will click that button even though we do not like their product or Facebook page enough to visit it without such a carrot. Basically, they're trying to sabotage their popularity number on Facebook. A few days ago, Bioware was not pleased with fans messing up the demo download numbers and even set back the counter a few times. What a hypocrisy.

Anyway people doing facebook should do this BW DA2 spam. Everyone spams in facebook all the time so one BW DA2 spam fits in there just fine. I would do it for lulz if I would bother to figure what was my latest dummy acco's username and password.

I'm glad we got the demo stuff (Magically I might add, I mean didn't we only have 850k when i went to sleep?) but this new challenge seems like a bit much. Looking at the comments from the escapist it seems like most people don't want to A) get a facebook or bother their friends and family with it. So it's very unlikely was C) we'll get half as many people as we need for the facebook one seeing as how it means we have to visit facebook every freaking day and we're not really getting anything from it. I mean the demo thing was doable cos we got to try out a kick ass new game but this seems like a step in the wrong direction.
I'm glad to help out but only cos I made a shell account for when DA Legends comes out. I doubt there are enough people like me to see this through.

At least they aren't Bethesda for Elder Scrolls V though, they want people to name a child the word for "Dragonborn" that that game's developed language uses...AND it has to be born on the release date. If it is I guess they get something really special...
