No they probably just added all the download counts from other sites, psn and xbl...you didnt think the counter did that in real time did you ?
Its like the how many ppl there are on earth counter...they dont count every persone every second honestly i swear ^^

From what I have read, "impressions" on facebook are essentially like views. Your friends don't have to share it themselves, but if they read it, like it, or comment on it, it will count toward the 1 million.

I think it's really cool that BioWare does these kinds of promotions. It doesn't cost us a cent, we get some free extras and it spreads the word of mouth about the game! Kudos BW!
