And now we announce the FOURTH TOME!!! You must now buy our $600 dollar Sword of Fereldan, if this sword is purchased 1 million times we will unlock a new tome, called the Tome of Ultimate Friendship, allowing you to romance a character previously incapable of being romanced - such as Flemeth. In addition to purchasing the sword, you get a free tattered loincloth of King Cailan, complete with authentic darkspawn blood, as a bonus!
They should actually do this because I'm curious how many people would spend $600 to romance Flemeth or Varric.

If I understand the OP properly, the item won't show up on the entitlements page until the 8th unless I'm interpreting it wrong.
Perhaps you're right; I didn't even read the OP that carefully! I just assumed that since the other three (HR, LL, TFCoK) showed up straight away, that this one would too.

my own opinion is that this was a silly game to bioware....I think there were going to give us the third tome no matter what. I mean it was already in the game. it just needed the signal to unlock it....so y not unlock it......duh.
Actually, it's probably not in the game. None of the small DA:O bonus items were, and DA2 is using the same basic game engine. When you download your DA:O rings or whatever, you're really downloading the actual ring item file and its attendant game resources (inventory and DLC menu icons, etc.), just like the larger DLCs.

Because this worked, we will undoubtedly need your steely resolve in the future as well.

I'm happy it worked out, yes.
I haven't complained at all, but I didn't take part because I neither have nor want a Facebook account (strong privacy discussion about Facebook ongoing here in Germany, even in politics).
The one thing that's making me sad a bit is that some seem to want to make us non-Facebook people feel like we're no real Bioware fans and that those who participated in the Facebook challenge are truer fans.
I would have loved to help, just couldn't go there. I did take part in the Demo challenge and am huge fan of Bioware games since 2002.
I just don't want to be laughed at or getting told others were better just because they do Facebook and I don't. For me It's punishment enough that I won't be able to play DA Legends because of this.
I feel sad... I think I need a hug...
*Hugs* Don't worry. All you need to be a true Bioware fan is be a member of the forums and post your honest opinions about their games. So for now kick back and enjoy the party. You are welcome in the enjoyment of the item as far as I am concerned.
Hehe, when I read your post I pictured Wrex hugging someone because of your profile picture...

Did it count if you only shared the Dragon Age page to yourself? Didn't want to share it to people who obviously are not gamers :s
If you looked at your own page, yes. The sharing was just make the posts more likely to be seen, which is what a FB "impression" is. Basically, a page hit counter, just for individual posts instead of the entire page.
Ahhh... so I did contribute then. My friends are spread out all over the place, so facebook is the way we keep up on each other. I have Bioware, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age news that pops up on my page, so I guess everytime someone wall posted they counted as an impression?

everything mainstream has its fairshare of problems but as with most popular movements the benefits outweigh the positives

1 million impressions on Facebook?
Not likely. Sooo not likely.
Heavy risk. But the priiiiize...
It was likely, all numbers are carefully thought out by the marketing team. And even if the goal wasn't met they'd still give the items away, I'm sure of it.
