Since you might want to know this anyways, you can create various lists of friends and individually tailor each post/picture you make to include/exclude as many lists as you want. I mainly use it to restrict what busybody aunts/uncles and my cousins who are still children can see, but it works just as well for professional reasons.
As to the feasibility of the contest itself . . . it counts pageviews not comments. From what I know of impressions, the actual feedback tends to be < 1% of the impressions, but based on the number of likes, if 1% of the people who viewed the post liked it, then we're already there. So this actually seems like a pretty safe bet.

These Promotions Guidelines, along with the Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, the Ad Guidelines, the Platform Policies and all other applicable Facebook policies, govern your communication about or administration of any sweepstakes, contest, competition or other similar offering (each, a "promotion") on Facebook.
As far as I can see, it clearly defines that making users do what Bioware is asking is not allowed.
- You cannot: Condition
entry in the promotion upon a user providing content on Facebook, such
as posting on a Wall of a Page, uploading a photo, or posting a status
update.- You cannot: Administer a
promotion that users automatically enter by liking your Page, checking
in to your Place or connecting to your Platform integration.

My issue is pretty similar. I love gaming and all but it's a personal hobby, sharing it with others will reveal something I prefer to keep to myself. Not all the 200+ people on my facebook are close friends...
