It would be really good if somewhere along the line BW drops this silly idea of making their customers jump through hoops all the time for these little tidbits that ultimately don't mean much, but are addictive for the completists.

If the product is good it will advertise itself but this superficial gimmicky promotion is getting out of hand.

Performing seals? Dancing poodles? If I want to be one I will join a circus.

They're books, you read them and gain some (Maker knows how much) money or experience and then they vanish (like skill or ability tomes from origins)

First two tomes grant XP and gold, which always have a value and can't be stored in a chest. This third one gives enchanting materials which probably always has use.

Even if it doesnt happend, the winner is Bioware. Im so NOT jumping on this bandwagon and spam my RL friends/colleagues who dont care about computergames.

There's a lot of FB hate here clearly. Rest easy knowing Legends isn't likley to be out before DA2. I really hope they don't release it anyway. Makes Journeys look incredible.

I'd have to agree, this time around there is a lot of lining of pockets, I also think the first day items we seem to be earning are too many in number. I'll be getting the Signature Edition along with the 100 other items in my registered items list and the Isaac of Clarke armour.

I'm not going to have the space to carry it all from the off.

Didn't like FB before due to privacy concerns. The promise of an extra DA2 item isn't going to change that.

This is where EA/Bioware screw up, we jumped through hoops and only just got the 1mil demo downloads, to be rewarded with another hoop to jump through...
We're not Pavlov's dogs, we won't jump through hoops every time and even we have limits.
Telling your friends who may be intrested is one thing, spamming friends and family who aren't is another.
So for this Call To Arms, I pass. I did what I could for this first one, but I won't be taking part in this, and by the looks of this many other's aren't going to either, I get the feeling they haven't even read the escapist and their open letters such as this one, for those that missed it:
