Ok just to play the devils advocate. Yes it is a marketing ploy. But so is releasing a demo. When you play a demo how many people do you tell if it is really good or really bad? I work for a game retailer so every demo I play could effect (however slightly overall) the sales of games. Do I think that make me a marketing ****? No. It makes me well informed. If you don't like the idea don't post it. If you dont want to spam post it once. Don't gripe and mumble because they are making use of all possible options. Nobody jumped through hoops to get the extra items for the demo. You all know you were going to play it anyways. At least we got extra items which, if you feel are useless then why do you even care? Bioware is giving there fans bonus' and making use of word of mouth all at the same time. Instead of bi****** about them "lining their pockets", imagine them making enough to publish their own games without worrying about the pure evil that is EA.

I learned my lesson from the last promotion. I went from bushy tailed and excited to disappointed to frustrated to drained of hope to seething to set to rage to asleep to wake up to see my roller coaster of emotions was for naught and now I have all this pent up emotion.

Good Luck on the FB promotion but I won't participate.

I've had to deal with more emotions than justice in Awakening!(and he didn't have to jump through hoops)

Don't get me wrong I appreciate getting the items very much.

Btw so I was mistaken?

The thing that I was looking forward to the most from the 2 books were the codex entries.

Especially the Lothering Lament entry.

I love DA lore.
