Also considering that EACH post has to get 1 million impressions... This one's just a lost cause... But hey, that's not gonna stop me from trying, I'll do my bit and hey maybe a miracle will happen just like we somehow, by some act of complete mercy and exceptionality managed to break 1 million with the previous challenge...

Ok, looking into Facebook "Impressions"...it's basically just a count of how many times the page has been viewed. But there's no tracking for unique impressions...so you could have one person loading the page 500k times and there's no way to tell the difference between that and 500k people viewing it.

This seems like a very poor thing to track, especially after the problems with the download counter

How do you know which people have contributed to the sharing - because no EA account details are involved? Or does the item unlock for everyone if the target is met?

(And what if the target is not met on day one? Means the whole thing is over! Wouldn't it be better to have an increasing scale? 500,000 on day one, 750,000 on day two, and then 1,000,000 on day three for the win! Plus I would write the Facebook post in a different way if my goal was to tell new people about Dragon Age. At the moment it read as info for the believers! I may be ranting.)

Why all the facebook hate? I mean, I don't care for social networking sites myself, but I am oblivious as to what makes the site so...bad I guess word be the right word.

Well congrats to everyone on the Call to Arms, but I don't know if I'm doing this whole Facebook thing. I don't "share" much on Facebook, except very occasionally - it isn't my style. As opposed to the Call to Arms, which just required me to play the demo as I was going to do anyway. That said, I don't think 1,000,000 a day is realistic for Facebook. 50,000 could be more realistic. Is there any counter for how many times an article has been shared?

1m Impressions.  Impressions are page views, not unique page views.  This just seems like it's going to end with scripts reloading the page *shrug*

edit: I just want them to confirm one way or the other what is actually required.  Going by the image shared on Facebook, it says "50k shares" per day.  Going by everything else it's "1m Impressions" per day.

Seriously, Bioware? I love your games. I buy your DLC and now you want me to be a facebook ad for you? I refuse to clutter my friends facebook pages every day until the 4th so you can get free advertising. Not everyone plays video games!
