There are also fans who never complained but has no access to facebook, or did not want to spam their friends because they are not gamers. I would say it's unfair for those people.
That's what I was thinking.

I'm not disagreeing but how would you know who took part? [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/uncertain.png[/smilie] Especially if some didn't use the same email addresses as thy had on Facebook.

Pretty much why this is an empty threat/plot for people to go and share today's post. There's no way to link EA accounts to Facebook accounts except if they happen to share the same email address, which a lot don't.

On the flipside they could just send a message via facebook to those who supported the challenge and took part. That has nothing to do with people's email accounts.

We are tallying up the numbers and arguing if the target is reached to make it available to everyone or just to those fans on Facebook would have helped reach teh goal. Personally, I am in favor of rewarding those who took part, not people who complained and didn't help.
When we know whether the goal was reached and who will or will not get the item, we will let people know.

For one, Mr.Priestly, your post have sparked the elitism attitude amongst some forumites regarding who deserves or don't deserve it and whatnot. Whether intentional or not, I don't see it as a good thing; splitting up the fanbase over something trivial.
Some people should keep in mind that, you yourself complaining about other people who complains, puts you in the same league.
