Impression is that each time somebody sees the link, it counts as one impression. If you share it and 30 of your friends see what you shared, it counts as 30 impressions (and they aren't unique so they can see it multiple times and still count as 30 more each time). 1m isn't that hard to do if everybody shared.

I'm mildly - MILDLY - annoyed about the tone of the whole who-deserves-it discussion.

Speaking for myself, Bioware asked for my help publicising their game. I didn't want to do it the way it was offered, and explained why. I also explained how the kind of publicity I did/would help with. I don't call that whinging, I call it feedback.

Lots of other people did like this campaign, and helped, and all power to them. If it were my choice, I would have given them a reward and not those who didn't. I would not have implied that people like me are somehow in debt for making perfectly reasonable decision.

To quote from a previous discussion about fans wanting control over the story, Bioware is not my ****. But I'm not their's either. What I owe them is the cash for the game.

I'm assuming that the game is going to be as awesome as possible for everyone who buys it - including those who've never heard of the promo campaigns. I want to pick up a copy for my teen niece as a present, and I'm assuming she won't need a bunch of extra stuff to be blown away

I actually do feel I owe someone, who exactly? Not Facebook or the users...no, I feel I owe BioWare/EA for showing kindness to not "play favourites" with just those who participated and give the tomes to them.

They could've been complete arses about these things and not given us the first two tomes when we had some spamming idiots trying to ruin it for us or the final tome when people decided it was their god-given right to abuse the company for just using one of the many marketing methods out there.

Sure, many don't like Facebook...many don't use it because it abuses privicy a lot...or because it's a very bad stain on this earth that won't come out for a long time, but having a go at BioWare/EA for using it to market? Idiocy...so yes, you do owe them at least, for showing those abusing whiners out there some equality and respect even when you probably didn't deserve it.

Many other companies in the gaming industry aren't so kind to their followers, keep that in mind and just enjoy what you've given.

Thanks Chris and BioWare/EA...most of us love you deep down, even if you think you loathe us, heh.

your welcome, to all those that decided this is a horrible promotion or whatever your beef is and didn't help out, but still recieved it anyways. Thanks to those that made it happen as well good job, now the game is just going to be a little better end of story.

For those that are wondering, per Chris's post, the 3rd tome should appear under Your registered game promotions when Dragon Age II ships on March 8th!

And yes Chris, we <3 you thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis much too! (of course, other times... well... "A short drop, and a sudden stop"  :innocent:)
