Well, it's another form of PR. I personally have nothing against it. Facebook is a great advertising scene and they would be mad not to use it's full potential. Gaming may be fun for all of us, but business is business.

On a side note - I will participate in this challenge. I see no harm in it and the more people buy DA2, the greater will be the money pool for development of DA3. Just my 5c ...

Anybody else worried that DA2 isn't gonna be that good?
I mean they're trying to get everybody to pre-order with these special editions, DLC and add-ons.
I'm worried that once the game is released and the feedback is negative, people will stop buying so they're trying to get the sales in pre-orders. I really hope i'm wrong though

I not to much into facebook; I have an account but don't actually use it to much, so I wouldn't know. But I read that impressions are shown for all "fan pages". What sense do they make if only the owner of the page can see them? As Maybe I am missing something... or its just one useless facebook-feature.

I shared it at first, but after a while I couldn't stand the thought that I was playing into this. So, deleted the post. It's getting to the point where I just feel like we're being used. I don't particularly appreciate that.

Well, I liked the Demo - being just demo and all - and I think the game will be really good. At least for my tastes. I guess we'll see some proper feedback from the genral audence not later than two weeks after the launch. In any case I preordered the game on Steam, so there is no going back for me now...

Every vibe in my bones is telling me the exact same thing.

Also know that every "big" movie that has been advertized to death ends up a flop?
I just hope they don't shoot a blank with this one..

I am sure it will be good if not really good. I like to think they are trying to get the name of the game out there and reward those that help and get free items. Honestly Bioware has made my favorite games to date right next to Betheseda so they always will have my support. They have proven to earn it.

If you have a FB account, go to the Dragon Age page (if you haven't hit the "like" button, do that now), and whatever post they have up should have a link at the bottom that says "share". hit that link and and share it on your page. that should be it, and if you have friends, chances are that they may see it and share it as well.

You know, they should post videos showing the DLCs and what they do, as well as what they may look like...

You might have misunderstood what you read.  Impressions/Feedback used to only be available on pages that had over 10k fans.  As of last year sometime, they changed it so that all pages have them.  They've always only been visible to the admins though.

They are there so that people who run the pages can see what things they post get the most attention/comments/etc so they can tailor their future posts towards that and ditch stuff that people don't care about.
