I like:
1) It's not a re-hash of DA:O.
2) Combat is faster than DA:O but handles much like DA:O.
3) Conversation wheel has intent icons.
I dislike:
1) Camera restraints for basic attack targeting at range.
2) Closing attacks for melee characters for basic attacks but not for talents (I feel it should have been the other way around)
3) Signature Edition didn't make it to Steam.

Like
1) New skill trees. There were too many useless skills you had to grab in Origins in order to get the skill you wanted.
2) Archery is now fun to use. Always felt underwhelmed with it in Origins.
3) New Mage attack animations are wicked. No longer sitting there going..."pew....pew....pew".
Dislike
1) Static companion armor/outfits/looks. Poor choice.
2) Enemies "chunking" when being killed. Works well for Fallout, not so much for Dragon Age.
3) Isabella just looks silly and ridiculous.

I like:
1 - The way mages hold staves
2 - The major improvement on rogues
3 - Although mages can't wear plate anymore, it seems as though some armor sets may incorporate plate pieces onto mage sets. (due demo costume)
Dislike:
1 - No Arcane Warrior
2 - Fewer specializations
3 - semi-repetitive h/ gameplay

Like:
1. The new art style. Yes, someone actually likes it. Shock bloody, horror! Anyway, I really like the environments (especially in DX11) and the non-darkspawn characters at least seem rather improved by it.
2. The Combat. The animations and general feel of the combat is just more... well animated. As promised it's less chess-y. Which I personally like. If I feel like playing chess, I will happily just play chess.
3. The story. I like the focus on Hawke and the framed narrative device concept. From the demo it seems to work out fine. I'd have to play the game as a whole to decide better though.
Dislike:
1. The models. Not all, and certainly not the companions, but the Darkspawn and "generic npc" models. The Darkspawn for their new look being simply far less intimidating. The generic npcs for being the same cookie cutter models over and over. I hope they have some unique children models this time, I hated that Connor used the exact same model as every other child in the game.
2. Lack of friendly fire (on settings below nightmare.) Yeah, it's kind of a niggly thing to mention. That said, I do think it's the one issue that kind of makes me agree with the whole "dumbed down" accusations. Still, it's pretty
minor and not game breaking, but it's there.
N.B. No, I don't think tactics have been removed just because of this.
3. This is more of a concern than a dislike in all honesty but it's my personal issue with DA2. The accusations that the ending is lackluster are worrying. I'm going to get the game and decide for myself but still... troubling.

* Companions. I like most companions so far, especially Aveline and Merrill seem to be very interesting characters and I'm looking forward to learn more about them.
* Return of the deep roads and the fade is a good thing, enjoyed em both in DAO.
* Archer rogue is fun to play, I always wanted to play an archer in an RPG, but it never felt right or totally boring.
DA2 does a good job, bows feel powerful and do a lot of damage.
Dislikes:
* Animations. Lady Hawke running looks odd, too much head bob, I also dislike the combat animations, they look weak and unfinished like they miss frames. And they're too much over the top.
* Kirkwall. Spending 90% of the time in a rather lifeless, grey dull city. I've always been a fan of the outdoor areas in RPG games and this makes me really sad. I hope for DLC that features more interesting areas.
* Dialogue wheel & dialogue in general. Felt, boring dumbed down and strange in the demo. A big step down compared to DAO.

This may change once I've played the game, but so far:
1) The Fully Voiced Protagonist, I've been wishing for that since Origins
2)The Story, While I liked the different origin stories from the first game the story in DA2 is more personal and draws you in a little more. I'm thinking practically non stop about how I'll shape Hawkes rise to power...
3)The Insanely Fast Combat Style, when first saw my dual-wielding rogue leap across the area to stab someone over top of them...I gasped.
1) It's too short, now I can't really judge this yet. Everyone plays at their pace and speed. I loved being able to play for 90hrs in DA:O, I'm not completely bummed though.

Based on the demo at least...
Liked:
-Hawke's overall look (especially with the 'fancy' armor)
-the variety on the ability trees
-the new companions look interesting
Disliked:
-dumbed-down character creation (no skills, race, or origin options)
-dumbed-down combat (no tactical pov or friendly fire; seemed very easy compared to DA:O)
-the new UI (the minimalistic approach turned out very boring)

I think it makes a lot of sense that you can only be a human. There is no way a dwarf or an elf would ever be the leader of a human city. It's just human nature.

- Rogue improvements - my favorite class just got better
- the graphics in general seem better
Dislikes:
- FemHawke's in general just doesn't run OR walk quite right in my eyes
- Isabela - honest, she was prettier and more interesting in DAO; the card game at the Pearl was great and should have been a starting point for her design DAII IMO

I'm getting DA2 on release day.
What I Like
- Combat mechanics, refined skill tree
- Sharper, non-Blight related storyline
- Hot sister and sexy pirate girl
What I Don't Like
- Art design is okay, but less moody and atmospheric than Origins, which for me is what defined the first game even though it had lackluster graphics
- Game is shorter than Origins (c'mon BioWare this is a sequel, at least make it as long as Origins)
- Combat feels too fast (Origins' was too slow, however)

Like:
- Faster, visceral, more exciting combat that loses nothing tactically
- Beautiful graphical quality, especially on faces, which are also now much more distinctive and realistic compared to the seemingly randomly-generated faces that were abound in DAO.
- Unique looks for your companions reinforce their personality and make them into more than just another suit of identical leather or plate.
Dislike:
- Combat animations may be just a little bit too fast. Just a little, though.
- Jagged new art style is distinctive but so far doesn't turn me on that much, especially the new ogres.
- Mages have to lose their little sister
Carver can suck it.

Like:
The new combat animations. Looking back, it seems like no one in Origins has any idea what to do with a sword. They just hold it out in front of them like a bunch of mooks.
The Dialogue wheel. Sorry if it's too Mass Effect-y for some, but I like knowing how people are going to react.
The Party, So far atleast, they just seem like they are more fleshed out than in Origins
Dislike:
The BIGGEST one is Carver dying. He's probably my favorite character so far, but at the same time, I HATE mages and will not play as one for a long time. So no Carver for me...I'd at least be happy if we got one more warrior in the party.
Not romancing Aveline. Isabela's a ho, and Merril seems like she's going to bug the crap out of me. I want to nail the valkyrie!
Not changing party member costumes. This one doesn't bug me as most people, in fact I like the majority of their outfits, but I do miss the customization.
