Who else misses the RPers like Liara, PGK, Shepard and all the others.  There humor was entertaining and my favorite reason to visit this site.  I haven't been on in about 6 months so i dont know...do they still post?  If not then i believe it is finally time for me to say who controlled them,  character specific.  I figured it out awhile ago and promised not to tell anyone.   But if they no longer post then i guess i can let people know.

If enough people want to know by tomorrow, then i will post who controlled which characters.

But please, if they still post let me know, i dont want to ruin the fun.  I'll be checking back in to see what decision to make next.:)

I don't mind the sense of mystery. Besides, you never know--it could start over again.

eh debatable.. I'm trying to figure out if it will start over as well using, let's say "old resources"

That's why I'm gonna give time before i take any action

Honestly, though, reading these old threads make me sad that I missed out on all the fun.

Nowadays, it's all about conspiracy theories and hating on quarians.

While that still went on back then, but it was rare. most forums were about character support (or hate) with the occasional pop in of rpers. the comedy from them was great!

Haven't seen them for a long time. It was fun though. I danced with the Presidium Groundskeeper once, but I can't remember which thread that was. They also invaded the one and only thread I ever created on BSN.

They got old and irritating fast.

Especially when everyone on the forum tried to imitate.

haha, i remember that picture! but with most of them gone, i guess i can slowly leak out facts about what i discovered...starting tomorrow. i'll be on in the morning and around this same time, i miss this site, lots of memories.

imitators were obvious. they were serious and didn't have the weird sense of humor of the rpers.

Hehehe. Some of those forums were awesome.

I remember the random appearances in other threads that were just total win.

*wipes tear* good times.

I imagine to good ones were the work of Ecael. Never thought to ask. If the original roleplayer actually ever admitted their role to anyone else on the forums, my opinion of them will drop dramatically. I know that many of the minor characters were the work of various posters to the older Tali support threads. Their work was subpar and obvious, as they failed to understand the trick of a good roleplay is to know one's role and how to play it.

As a long time lurker, I saw one or two of their posts and found them hilarious, never thought there would be full threads though.
Definitely wish they were still around. Would lighten up the serious mood around here - conspiracy this, pessimistic "ME3 is gonna suck" that, blahblahblah. I want some game banter in the form of roleplayers, dammit!

I think that if there are a lot of people who wish to keep the mystery of the RPers' identity a secret, you'd just be best off PMing those who really want to know.
Would allow the chance for them to return and all, y'know? Or at least, that's what I'm hoping.

Yeah, it's a shame that I didn't make it here before.
Seemed like a lot of fun, let's see if they re-appear for ME3.

I see what you guys are saying, but if i PM it will spread out anyways. the only reason i put this up is because i'm not sure if they will be coming back. i sent some pm's out and am waiting for replies to let me know. i'll send a couple more out to people i can trust. but the main jist that i get is that people don't want to know who or what controlled the rpers. Am i right?

Pretty much.  The mystery is nice.  Like most here, I have my theory..but not knowing just makes it that much cooler.

I say let the mystery remain....and like others have said..they may make a return when the forums burst into overdrive when ME3 gets closer.  I'd rather just roll with it and not take that peak behind the curtain.

kk, a secret it will remain then. no pm's either, unless it is someone i can trust!! sorry but i took a break, and now when i return the rpers are gone, it's like this thread is missing something. without them it seems so much more lonely knowing the truth...

I remember a totally random thread about some mundane thing once....then out of the blue they came in..it was comedy gold for a few pages before it got locked for being an off-topic thread or something. But man, I was laughing so hard. Was probably the funniest half hour on the forums I've ever seen. It's things like that that make the forums awesome.

Now it seems all gloom and doom, and I find myself being sucked into it *shudder*. I'm becoming a cynical bastard...*gets cane and opens another beer* Back when I was but a lad, the forums were a place of rainbows and happy drunk leprechauns ...
