LOL @ "blue-skinned space babes". I think I will be checking out that making of video.
It can be hard to wrap one's head around though. They are all sexually female, yet "genderless"- atleast according to Liara. It doesn't help that they aren't a very androgynous race, either. I think if they were more androgynous in appearance, it would present less confusion. Probably what is most confusing to me is why we haven't really seen females of the other races. Especially female turians, given their culture. You'd think that you'd see a few at the Citadel, given their militaristic culture.
Totally. I think this is one of the main misunderstandings I see on the forums about asari. It's stated many times in the game that the asari are monogendered (as in, single gender) and not genderless as some people think. Monogendered implies that the entire species in a single gender, male
or female, but not "lacking gender". They are definately female, which is good since as you pointed out every other species except humans seem to be very secretive of their females.
Just give it some time. I'm almost positive we'll see female turians in ME3. Maybe even a female korgan. :innocent:
Edit: Oh yeah and Femshep hooking up with Liara? Thats just an attempt to allow the player to have a lesbian relationship without
calling it a lesbian relationship. We all know this to be true.
