So instead of the normal WASD cluster I use a slightly different binding for FPSs and TPSs (I own a Logitech G5 mouse)
Shoot left mouse
Forward right mouse
Melee middle mouse
1st Squadmate side mouse key 1
2nd Squadmate side mouse key 2
Aim A
Strafe Left S
Strafe Right F
Back D
Use/Cover/Sprint E
Last weapon G
Map M
Regroup Squad C
Power Wheel Shift
Mouse Y axis inverted
Any of y'all got a better/more efficient setup than the default option? If so please do share.
Post your custom key bindings!

I asked a similar question a while back.
http://social.biowar...1/index/5430834
I just got a gaming mouse and am still getting used to the speed of it, but once i am more comfortable with it I'll be putting in some bindings to it since it has a lot of buttons

I never understood how people could play WASD when you usually move forwards and to the side more often than backwards. So even though the middlefinger might be longer I find it rather uncomfortable to play WAD and play QWE instead (with S as backward key). Anyways, here are my bindings:
Q - Move Left
W - Move Forward
E - Move Right
S- Move Backwards
A - Next Weapon (Previous to me, ME2 handles the weapon order the wrong way)
D - Previous Weapon (aka next weapon to me like switching from SMG to Sniper)
R - Reloading
TAB - Power Menu
ALT - Melee Attack
SPACE - Run, Cover...
Y - Power 6 (note: QWERTZ keyboard, so Y is left of X and C)
X - Power 7
C - Power 8
Mouse 1 - Shoot
Mouse 2 - Aim
Mouse Thumb Button 1 - Power 1 (class Main Power)
Mouse Thumb Button 2 - Power 2
Mousewheel Up - Power 3
Mousewheel Down - Power 4
Mousewheel Click - Power 5
1 - Teammate 1
2 - Teammate 2
3 - Form Up
Q - Move Left
W - Move Forward
E - Move Right
S- Move Backwards
A - Next Weapon (Previous to me, ME2 handles the weapon order the wrong way)
D - Previous Weapon (aka next weapon to me like switching from SMG to Sniper)
R - Reloading
TAB - Power Menu
ALT - Melee Attack
SPACE - Run, Cover...
Y - Power 6 (note: QWERTZ keyboard, so Y is left of X and C)
X - Power 7
C - Power 8
Mouse 1 - Shoot
Mouse 2 - Aim
Mouse Thumb Button 1 - Power 1 (class Main Power)
Mouse Thumb Button 2 - Power 2
Mousewheel Up - Power 3
Mousewheel Down - Power 4
Mousewheel Click - Power 5
1 - Teammate 1
2 - Teammate 2
3 - Form Up

The only thing I changed is that I assigned CTRL as the walk button. I thought it was pretty ingenious.

Does the walk button actually do anything?

Makes you walk?
OT: I keep the WASD for movement, I'm used to it now, no need to go fartin' around and changing everything.
I do change where I map my hotkeys 4-8, though.
4-remapped to "T" (same distance for my forefinger, but more "comfortable" to hit, I found.)
5-Remapped to "Tab"
6-Remapped to "Caps Lock"
7-Remapped to Mouse Button 3
8-Remapped to Mouse Button 4
Everything else stays the same.

I might try this just out of sheer interest, but the lack of squad member hotkeys and squad regroup bothers me a little.
