Huh. As of the moment, I prefer the CC for male Hawke. Also, I am going to miss the option to alter mouth width, although I think I can see why they did it.

What about all the modders?  Are they, too, violating EULA?  Bioware seems not to have a problem with it.

It reset to normal after the second ogre battle for me. It still said nightmare but ff was gone.

Wow this is really great. I'm not sure I'll use the default any more, I like siblings with different hair.

Also - nightmare seems to be quite good. I just tried it and someone died in every fight. First I wasn't sure that FF worked, then I ko'd Bethany and took 3/4 Carver's hp with one fireball :D. And the ogre involved lots of running xD.

But yeah I think it won't be feasible to have more than 1 melee in the group for it. I'm not 100% it was that, but Avelinne wasn't so immortal anymore and Carver wasn't doing so crappy damage all of a sudden when he was hitting her, hehe. And if there's an encounter with that many archers as in DA:O vs Cauthrien I think there's 0 chance of survival without at least a few wheels of cheese. They hurt and they never miss :9

Difficulty selection sometimes resets to Normal. Managed to reach final battle of the demo with my mage at Nightmare Difficulty.


How hard was the final battle (i.e the one with Varricc and Isabella)?

I am seriously shocked! If the female presets are those we will see in the full version...One uglier than the other. Default LadyHawke looks half decent but we cannot alter her. Most of the new hair styles look worse than the DAO hair styles. So, great! :sick:

I have to admit, the male ones look much better. Across the board.

Also, beards don't make your cheeks collapse this time around.

No, there's a whole load of new ones in addition to the old ones.

No, there's a whole load of new ones as well as the old ones.


I thought he was talking about the "new" hairstyles as in from the game, not the entirely new ones. My bad.

Anyone notice inconsistencies in the saved game import 'plot summaries'? The save I imported had both Connor and Loghain alive and well, but the summary states that they were both killed. What gives?

Nightmare Rogue wasnt as hard as I was expecting. I've only ever played DA:O on normal so... I just paused a lot and tried to make sure my Bethany fireballs were going into a safe place. On the few occasions she was charging up a fireball before I was done issuing orders to others, in particular my rogue, I was able to use the evade to flip out of the way. He did die one time from a fireball. But the final battle with the ogre just took 2 health pots and 1 mana pot, Bethany and my Rogue survived.

The importing feature wasn't finished in this version of the demo as it was never intended to see use.

I got this as well conner is alive plus I made loghain do the dark ritual yet it says he died when facing the archdemon yet he was there well and fine in awkaening I think its a bugged in the demo the full game might fix this problem.

I made a pretty awesome whitehaired tattooed FHawke. Upset with the current choices of tattoos though. I miss the dwarven tattoos. Oh well, can't wait for the final edition!
