I cant seem to get it to work how and where do I extract the file ( I would love a step by step guide :) )

Seif9: Dl the file. Extract the contents (the 'packages' folder) to your My Documents->BioWare->Dragon Age 2 Demo folder.

That's all there is to it. You should end up with 2 files in the override folder (which is in packages->core)

Anyone notice inconsistencies in the saved game import 'plot summaries'? The save I imported had both Connor and Loghain alive and well, but the summary states that they were both killed. What gives?

Yeah, it gets noticed by pretty much every other poster in this thread.  See...pretty much every other post.  And no: no one knows what's wrong with it it other than the fact that it's a demo based on an old build and lots of other stuff doesn't work right either.

it's packaged. You need to open it with winrar or winzip.

Looks like they took the easy way out and just remove the option to edit cheek & jaw when you turn on beards. Whenever you use a beard your morph will default on those sliders.

Yes, same as in DAO, only it doesn't collapse your face this time around. :wizard:

So? Make your own...

I tried that but to do so you have to choose a preset as a base. So long as the base looks terrible the end result will do too. If only we could use default LadyHawke as a base. :(

I wanted to use the default as a base but I guess this would do... I present you, Moe Hawke! Dwarf-lover and occasional archer.

So...if they're all locked down...why were they included? Couldn't the demo have been smaller?

I mean, it's cool that y'all found it, but still.

VA, music and level layouts is the realy HDD space hogs in DA -- at least in the first game.

Not really, it's just make your cheek & jaw line up with the beard, pretty much what DA:O did actually, this time they just remove the slider for cheek and jaw when you have a beard on.

It's so upsetting how I don't have a computer that can handle the demo, I really hate my Xbox right now.
I'm hanging off every CC Hawke being put up in this thread.

Didn't actually play with her, since my laptop is really not made for this game, but I wanted to try out the CC, see if I liked the new styles. Gotta say that I really do.
