Allow me to remind people quickly that anything unlocked by mods in the demo hasn't gone through final QA, bugfixing, polish, or balancing, and is likely not representative of final game content. Especially Nightmare balancing. This goes double for crashes if you're using mods.

Remind away. People will, sadly, continue to ignore or forget.  (And I say that as someone who loves having this opportunity, even if it is buggy and unofficial. But, thank you for letting us continue to have this thread without locking it down.)

Srsly folks, look for nothing more than a general impression if you want to use the mods.

Its difficult to tell with such a small sample of gameplay, but having everything impact your companions looks like it will be quite a bit more difficult. 2h warriors really do cleave a pretty wide area and it seems like magic damage is particularly harmful against your companions in comparison to enemies.

Here is the first Hawke I made up. I was pleased, chars do look significantly better, but I can't say the same of the alternate presets for the others... my Bethany and Mother looked awful, and Carver looked seriously emaciated like he was in a concentration camp.

I don't find nightmare that much harder, at least up to the 2nd ogre battle. The build that is effective changes a bit, though. Rogue abilities become very important and stuns in general become better CC than direct damage.

I'm loving being able to play around with the character creation!
However I've tried twice and both times the demo crashed as soon as I left the character creation screen... anyone know how to fix this/what I'm doing wrong?
First time I changed the back story, second time I didn't touch it... also the mouth and jaw options are always still greyed out, is that normal?

If you have vertical sync enable turn it of. 

...And the mouth jaw thing sounds odd. I"m not sure how to fix that.

I've only tried it twice, and its worked both times, but somewhere earlier in the thread I saw someone suggest logging off of bioware and turning of V-Sync.  Maybe worth a try?
