There's a new mod there now. The first was to unlock character creation, the other one unlocks the inventory.

ok, my philosophy  on inventory and difficulty is as always for demos:
locked doors are locked for a reason here - go ahead and pick the
lock at the risk of dropping into the yawning chasm behind the
treshold...

My only interest is to create character presets for later use
- that shouldn't lead into sthg. like Kirkwall being swallowed
whole by the Waking Sea ingame, or does it?

Hm. Opening the inventory did not set the difficulty back. I assumed it would and got 3/4 of my party killed by using explosive arrows at point blank during the Hayder fight. So opening the options menu is more likely the cause for the difficulty reset. ^^

Ehhh I keep getting a cannot open files error when I'm trying to extract the mod.

 Got a pretty Hawke but everyone else in my family is teh ugly. lol.....

I still cant acces CC. I mean I cant move the slider from the default face. Every other thing runs well - inventory, difficulty. I put the files in the right place oc.

There's two different links in the OP, have you downloaded both and put them in the correct folder?

My question now: did you use the DAO toolset to make this possible?
If yes, I thinks it's a good point concerning the retrocompatibility of the DAO toolset with DA2.

I've download the two files, and it works fine for me, no problem.And I can see that we can now unlock the "starting story" setting, wahouah, I'm really impressed

That's the one you want. Mine's in program files too.

They go into the Bioware folder that's generally located in your documents folder. There should be a Demo folder there, and from there the packages folder isn't too hard to find.

Am I the only one whose game crashes after they hit "Start Game" with a custom Hawke?

I have no clue why, and the only thing that lets me make one is uninstalling it and installing it again every time.

No. However when I tried to equip a belt my game crashed.
