Hello All!

Sorry if this has been answered in some other thread, did a seach and didnt find anything.
You see, my problem is this, I got 11 days to play through DAO with DLCs and while that might be doable if I dont do anything else I would like to plan ahead some.

So my question is quite simple: Which, if any, of the DLCs will have an impact on the story in DA2. Sure i doubt anything will have a major impact but still, I would like to know if I can safely skipp any of them or if they all make some minor impact on DA2.

The only ones that won't matter for importing will probably be Darkspawn Chronicles and Lelliana's Song.

If you play on Easy you can do all of it (Origins-Awakening-Amgarrak-WH) in less than 11 days. But you'll have to invest about 4h/day on average. Be sure to use a walkthrough if you're stuck in a tough battle(Harvester for example) or bug(Silverite mine for example) to save time and keep the blood pressure low

I can complete an entire DA:O playthrough with every sidequest and every DLC in under 2 days time, Awakening can be done in 1 day.

Aye, the 11th is the day we get it in Europe.

So why did I say 11 days? Well I counted today and release day (sure its half a day until i get the game but hey heh) so that should be 11. ^^

Although, according to some sites it says we get it the 10th. I ordered the SE from webhallen and there it says the 10th. I'm really hoping this is the case!

I am in the same problem. I have a file with 2 of the 4 ally recruitment quests done. I dunno if to try and pick it up and finish it by switching to easy. I have never finished DAO or it's DLC/Expansions.

Noob question, but will you start out level one in DA2? Really hated my character from DA;O so don't care to import him

You don't import your char. You import what happened. And yes, you start at level 1, but I figure these books they are giving away will boost levels a little.

Ok, so if you made Alistair king he remains king, etc. Starting DA Awakening now for the first time, going to try and beat it before Tuesday. Thinking of playing a warrior, on the PS3 and I don't think it has enough buttons/shortcuts to play a mage well and I really didn't like the rogue. ended up micromanaging Alistair more than anyone as it was important to keep everyone on the tank and not beating up the damage dealers. Figure if I am going to be playing the warrior/tank the whole time might as well make him the main character

Yea it was me that created it, but a level 1 rogue and a level 20 rogue are vastly different.  I actually played the game beginning through the end and lived with my mistakes.  I didn't save, choose an option, not like the result and reload as seems popular with everyone else these days.  I also didn't min/max my character to it's nth degree.

I played the game, during the course of it I found I enjoyed Alistair more than the rogue.  /shrug

And the flags DO carry over from each import you do, right? Origins > Awakening >Golems > Witch Hunt. Import witch hunt. Correct?

Hmm...

I completed Witch Hunt before I completed Golems.  Now I'm wondering if that will affect any of the saved game decision flags.

I suppose I should probably go back and run through Witch Hunt again.  It's not as if it'll take all that long to do.
