another WIRED xbox 360 controller from razer. Epic fail Razer, Epic Fail.
*sigh* They cannot make a wireless controller for the platform because Microsoft explicitly prohibits it. They would need to jump through a lot of hoops to get it licensed if microsoft was willing to at all.

Because PSN apparently doesn't like the use of codes to unlock promos? So just like the Ser Isaac requires the actual Dead Space 2 disk, all PS3 promo unlocks are apparently going to be disk checks. Dunno if you'll get the Ring of Whispers as part of that check though.cronotriggr wrote...
Why is it that the PS3 players are being made to feel like the lepers in the corner? No one is even giving us a reason for the exclusion.
Other games have done it. Also, Dragon Age Origins used its own code input system where you register the code in game.

Have you seen how EXPENSIVE it all is? I might consider getting a PS3 controller, oh wait, it's just for the Xbox and PC... AGAIN...
Yeah, I think it's Microsoft Moneyhats or something. No reason to not let PS3 owners get this DLC if they want it otherwise.
And it's telling that in both this and the Epic Weapons thread, no Bioware employee/mod/angel has bothered to explain why. So it's probably some contract they have with Microsoft, i.e moneyhats.
That's just my theory anyway.

$30.00 to ship a cloth mousepad to Canada, are they kidding??
Don't forget that UPS is also the worst way to send an item to Canada. Looking at an additional $20-30 in brokerage/disbursement fees to clear customs which you'd get charged at delivery. Nice looking mouse pad, but I'm not sure it's worth $80+ after shipping/fees.
Hopefully they distribute the DA2 gear to Newegg at some point, and include the code for the ring in the box or something ($10 shipping, pay the GST upfront, and no brokerage fees). Otherwise, it's going to be a non-starter for most Canadians.

Then again, I don't live in the U.S. so that might be somewhat of a moot point at any rate.
Edit: Also, I thought it was fun that the marketing blurb said something about "cutting swathes through hordes of Genlocks", as last I remember, they weren't going to make that much of an appearance in the game.
