My guess is he probably isn't. I think if he was, they'd advertise it, rather than keep it secret, just based on how many people want the LI, I think they'd figure it would be a huge selling point for the DLC if they announced it as such.

The story of Vael was a neat one, still celibacy? Vael, buddy I respect your decision but I can't say I could contimue to make that sacrifice buddy.

Well.. Anders is posessed and he's still a LI. I/some people thought that was a big tick in the Not LI column. I don't care either way as far as Sebastian is concerned but, just sayin.

You have a point about Anders. I'll be interested to see if he does turn out to be an LI. It'd be a fascinating move, where Bioware determines if LI status grants more sales for DLC, and if they are interested in exploring that content further into the future.

I got the impression that the whole serving the chantry/being celibate thing was forced onto Sebastian by his parents. They didn't want any children of his to become a threat as heirs to the throne, because his brother's children have that right. Sebastian is honoring his parent's wishes, but after his entire family is murdered, someone has to carry on the Vael bloodline, just like Alistair carries on the Theirin bloodline. Who better to have at your side than a woman (if you play Lady Hawke) who has noble blood in her family from the Amell line, and who is also the Champion of Kirkwall?

Yeah... I've never seen that happen, lol. You can make your character in DAO look like Gollum, and Alistair will still say, "By the Maker, you're beautiful" and kiss her. But who knows, Sebastian may prefer a meek little chantry-mouse type of woman. But I doubt it.

Hey, it's just video games imitating life. Manipulating guys through dialogue trees is easy as pie so long as you know what they want to hear. The opposite isn't true, however. At least, not with women worth having.

Well i think he's the only guy that caught my interest so far i'll be a sad fangirl if he's not a LI ... if not i'll go for Anders.... as for Fenris i don't know is it just me or that elf look creepy? creepy in the sense if he's not happy with you, your his dinner?

I think the short story might just be to help drum up interest and convince people to buy the DLC, though I could be wrong. 

But...considering he willingly went back to the chantry, doesn't that mean he willingly took on vows of celibacy? Which...might not be too conducive for a romance.

I love how people are stuck on the part where he was forced to join the Chantry by his parents but conveniently ignore the ending where he chooses to stay.

Despite that decision I don't think it precludes the possibility of him forsaking his vows. The main thing that interests me are the words that spring to mind when he's thinking about how much money he's been given. Useless, aimless, selfish, alone. Makes me wonder if these are echoes of the sentiments expressed by his parents. I think the story establishes that he's genuinely faithful to the Chantry but I wonder if part of his decision came from thinking it was the only viable option he had. Looking forward to finding out.

Yes but the forced celibacy was due to him not getting the throne and his going back was before his family was murdered so there is still a minute shred of hope........?
