...never mind. I know now.
I did post it above.
Oh. I didn't see that.

Well, thank you, regardless!

I'm reading the little blurb in the guide,
which mentions him in the same breath as Isabela, and it seems to
allude to a full romance, just a 'chaste' one. So, talks and what not,
sans sexytime. You can flirt with everyone, supposedly. Why mention him
in that section of the guide if he were just another Aveline?
I
dunno, I'll try not to hold my breath. It's entirely possible that it is
just a few flirt lines, but I'd like to remain optimistic. ../../../images/forum/emoticons/wizard.png
Because even Aveline isn't just another Aveline! I still refuse to believe otherwise until a developer specifically says, "Aveline never flirts back with Hawke and you cannot end up sexually, romantically or even emotionally involved with her by the end of the game."
If I get the sense that my Hawke absolutely can't ever shag Sebastian, though, even theoretically in the future, then he won't be my first romance unless I adore his character so much that I can't resist him. Otherwise, he'll be on my to-do list, big time, but probably after I've played my Fenris-or-Anders straight playthrough and my Merrill-or-Isabela lesbian playthrough, and possibly after my Male Hawke torturously in love with Aveline playthrough.

Wait, a romance without sex is "hollow?"
Personally, I think it's a very interesting and intriguing change. Not
only that, but its culmination has the chance to be one of the more
interesting romances in a BW game, imo. I love that it's chaste. Then
again, I'm still excited that I'll have someone to romance.
I agree, it's not hollow, and not a dealbreaker... but it is a bit of a heartbreaker for me, still. I just... I like sex. The idea of no sex just makes me sadface.

Still, if I make a character who for some reason isn't into sex--too much of it or traumatic experiences with it--then I could dig it. But I still have to high-five Lady Satsuki in that it really does seem like "an egregious waste of a hottie."
Then again, so does Varric not being romanceable.

'Princes aren't meant for chastity'

Personally, I'll be happy if he has any kind of flirt lines. Three in game romances is just too much to wish for (or handle [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/lol.png[/smilie]).
Ohhh, please let it be more than a hollow line!
Honestly, I could take an entire
game of no sex, but I do want him to eventually get busy with my Hawke, even if I never see the result. It's just the idea of two people being in love but never getting it on that would bug me. I can't say I mind the whole sexytime thing for the second game (it will likely be much better than it was in the first game) but I'd rather a character lack the usual sex scenes and have a romance than have no romantic content at all.
