What if the defiinition of "chaste" in this game depends on our choices? Like, he'll agree to marry you (after game, no sex scene) if he claims the throne because he needs to have heirs, but if you DON'T put him on the throne he says he can't because he has no legitimate reason to break his vows?
If that's the case . . . . on the throne you go, baby!

Hmm not convinced, it's a bit too much of an Alistair redo. But we'll see. For those holding out for more I think you'll be disappointed.

Actually, LadySatsuki and sevalaricgirl theories do make sense, the stream in in another day or so though, hopefully, Mike will be able to provide more answers then.

He might hint at it though.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's being foolish and hopeful. The audacity of hope!!
Seriously, I know I'll probably be sorely disappointed come game-time, but I just can't help myself. If nothing else, the fanfiction for all this is going to be DELICIOUS.

Hey, I clung to hope about him being an LI in the first place and I clung to hope about Anders and Fenris both being bisexual, this method seems to have worked so far.LadySatsuki wrote...

And knowing Mike, that's probably all he'll do, hint at it. Urgh. Curse you developers and your sneaky sneaky ways.

Oh, how you enticed me, Bioware! How you lured me out of my hiding spot with this delicious news! I stayed away…
Lilacs wrote...
…Romance material or not his [Prince Sebastian] spot is a guaranteed one in my party. The Voice Actor, Alec Newman is a girl crush of mine. If romance is an option (for Prince Seb) I would be the happiest girl in the game world.
You see...
“’I notify you then that I submit. Oh, I submit,’” [Bioware], The Portrait of a Lady by Henry James
Here I am squealing the biggest “squee” I have done since my early teens.
Oh, Bioware… this type of romance resides only in the great classics written by such acclaimed writers like: Jane Austen, Barbara Cartland, Henry James (The Portrait of a Lady), Charlotte Brontë, to cite a few, but definitely: Barbara Cartland, where romance thrives and chastity (no intimate relations occurs prior to the declaration of love follow by engagement, then marriage or both at once.) reigns supreme.
This is what I hoped Bioware had done, and, as always, you deliver beautifully.
I have gathered a collection of possible (my belief and opinion of Prince Sebastian’s inner being) thoughts that Prince Sebastian might (I think he definitely does) possess in his soul about his chosen one (off-the wall-text coming your way):
“The snow is wet on your eye lashes
There is pain in your eyes.
You are engraved on my heart
With a chisel dipped in acid.
And in my heart the humility of your expressions
Will remain forever,
And now the hard heart of the world
Is not my business.” (Meeting, a poem, in Doctor Zhivago, by BorisPasternak)
“Yes, I am crazy, since the day I took the drug [love] you offered me… in the beauty that enraptured me.” (Alceste to Célimène, “The Misanthrope, Act IV” by Molière)
“She was a phantom of delight
When first she gleam’d upon my sight;
A lovely apparition, sent
To be a moment’s ornament;
Her eyes as stars of twilight fair;
Like twilight’s, too, her dusky hair;
But all things else about her drawn;
A dancing shape, an image gay,
To haunt, to startle, and waylay.” (Perfect Woman, first stanza, by William Wordsworth)
“…It is just that I wanted you to belong to me so completely and absolutely, and to know there was nobody in your life except me.” The Earl, “I never knew that love could be so painful, such entertaining misery.” The Earl, “…Now it is a wonder beyond words, a happiness which I believe, my darling will grow everyday and every year that we are together… There is no end to our love—yours and mine—it is something, which Fate brought to us and Fate will never take away. I will love you, my beautiful one, from now until eternity, and that will not be long enough for me.” (A Gentleman in Love (some excerpts) by, the queen of romance novels, Barbara Cartland)
Oh, dear Prince Sebastian, you are a true delight!
‘”That depends on circumstances, sir [Prince Seb] – on your choice [Jane uttered].”’ Mr. Rochester [Prince Seb], “’Which you shall make for me, Jane [insert your PC’s name]. I will abide by your decision.’” Jane [Your PC], ‘”Choose sir, [Prince Seb]—her who loves you best.”’ Mr. Rochester [Prince Seb], ‘”I will at least choose—her I love the best. Jane [insert your PC’s name], will you marry me?’” Jane [Your PC], “’Yes, sir [Prince Sebastian].’” (Jane Eyre, some excerpts, by Charlotte Brontë)
Yes, of course, darling Prince, I agree wholeheartedly. The end.

A chaste relationship would've been appropriate in that case though, or else it would quite literally be some "hard" lovin'.

This news that Sebastian is romanceable really makes me wish they'd done the same for Shale in DA:O. That would've been one romance I would not have thought twice about pursuing!

I definitely would have gone for a chaste relationship with Shale. Also Sten or Justice, I'll admit.

Jane Austen/Charlotte Bronte are awesome, but we still don't know if this can end in marriage with Seb. Their heroines had chaste romances that ended in marriage, will ours!?
I hope it will. From the speculation/spoiler thread, they hinted that it is a possibility. I sure hope so. Nonetheless, I am excited about this news.

Nice find! Sebastian kind of looks like Matthew McConaughey.
He is a looker, plus great biceps.
However, Alec Newman, wins my heart.
