Well weapons work a bit different know, with daggers always coming in pars for example so there could be a pair of "daggers" withe a mace/hammer look usable only by dual wielding rogues, i very much doubt it though.

It's still an anachronism - there is no evidence to suggest that the term was used in this way prior to the twentieth century and the use of an off-hand dagger with a rapier was pretty universal, not tied to any specific school of swordsmanship. There are a couple of extant treatises written by fencing masters from Florence - Altoni in about 1560 and Docciolini in the early 1600s, IIRC - but to the best of my knowledge they don't contain anything substantially different from what was taught in the rest of Italy at the time. I fear this is going OT, so I will stop here, but I must first acknowledge SlayTheDragons' point and agree that Ezio was indeed a Florentine who used two blades.Aradace wrote...
Thirdly, it's not the name for ALL DW styles, it's simply the name of one style in particular. Usually implementing a Rapier and a parrying dagger, also known as a Main Gauche. The dagger isnt used so much for "attacking" as it is used for, as the name implies, parrying.

This class is a lot of fun to play. I'm torn again on whether or not to play the first time as a DW rogue or mage. I can't decide, darnit!
This.
And I am thinking of which paths to follow with each......diplomatic-mage, witty-rouge, wicked-warrior? thoughts?

Returning to the discussion of rogues, is it confirmed that daggers always come in pairs? That is somewhat disappointing if so. I like to mix and match...

Witty/sarcastic goes hand in hand with being a rogue. The wicked and diplomatic can go either way with the warrior and mage.

It suxs there isnt a swap weapon option (you have to change manually, if u have the inventory mod), at least in demo, because hybrid builds seem very viable.

i'll be honest i'll miss the automatic backstabs you used to get in origins when you flanked an enemy.
