Nope. That class is still a lock-picking monkey, and I refuse to think otherwise.

They did, I believe one of the devs said somewhere that the specs work with both DW and archer now. I hope they will give some information about it when they upload the correct text to the site.Maelora wrote...
Also, I assume they've rejigged the real specialisations (Shadow, Assassin, Duelist) to fit archers too?

I don't mind the acrobat/alchemist concept. I just with the two-blade animations weren't so goofy and anime.

So those are the specs? I'm surprised Duelist got the nod - that seems like a very melee oriented concept. I am a bit disappointed that bard or ranger did not make it in. The rogue concept seems to me to have narrowed more than the other classes.

Of course it was the first class I tried in the Demo, and though we didn't get to try all he abilities, I was happy with both Dual-wield and Archery abilities we did get to try.
The funny thing is, however, I like how all the classes are implemented, each one is quite fun in its own way.

Oh god, I was so sure I was going to play DW rogue, but archery ... aw it just looks so good. But I want at least either Seb or Varric in my party at all times, along with Anders ... I can't be an archer too, that would only leave my tank to get pokey up close.
Gah.
This,
While archery looks incredibly to be incredibly cool in this game however making Hawke an archer means potentially losing two of the most interesting characters in the game as companions for party balance reasons.

We may just have to sacrifice party balance for the men we love.

Rogue the mean one? I don't really see that... in my eyes diplomatic makes more sense to a rogue, because of the 'silver-tongued'-attitude rogues have (in my mind). Agressive sounds more warrior to me.General Malor wrote...
I can't wait to play through with my archer rogue. It's going to be fun. I already decided that my Mage is going to be the sarcastic one, my Warrior is my noble one, and my Rogue is the mean one.
I just want to know the specs! ><
