Which one is the ranged specialist ?
This time every specialization gives advantages to both weapon styles.

As far as the (finally corrected) Specs go, the icons are really colorful. Now I wonder what they all mean. And which one of them do I use if I want to be a soulfog flask??

In a way, it's both.Steel Moon wrote...
So I'm confused... This has probably been discussed elsewhere but if so I can't find it. Do we only get backstab damage when we use the actual talent, or is it default if you position yourself behind the target? I really hope it's the latter.
You only get backstab damage when you use the talent, but all attacks from behind your target have an increased critical chance.

Every person that spells it 'rouge' secretly gets put on a rogue's hit list.
I second this...
I want my rouge is like a warrior. A dual wielding juggernaut.
Do it BW!
(Oh, forgot you did it.)

Ugh. Is that fake? Who the hell thought that would be a good color scheme?

Actually no it's not a fake. I've first seen this picture in a thread about a preview. Can't remember the magazines name.
EDIT: Google is my friend.

Color is off, that should be red.

... as opposed to other rogues who aren't single target dps.Duelists specialize in calling out single opponents and eliminating them, quickly.

A-ha! That sound acceptable on the surface. I do not believe I will complain about that.

I'm not impressed with DW Rogue so far, I'll give it a try in game but I had a tough time with it in the demo. It wouldn't be so bad if the camera angles weren't so god awful, everytime she'd flip around, I'd have a hard time getting her to target what I wanted her to attack instead of leaping off somewhere else and screwing the camera up AGAIN - and that's when she actually would attack and just fake attack by swinging her daggers around and not hit anything.
It's a real shame too, it was my favorite in DAO/A. Now it's all flashdance ninja which looks cool, yes, big kudos but it's not really practical or even fun to use once u get over the flashy moves which is easy when you are doing crap dps, lol.

Also, in the full game you can always turn auto attack on.
And Rogues really do the most DPS in the game. Much easier to quickly kill a target than with a warrior in the demo.
Of course, Archers are even better, no need to risk getting into melee and you get access to wonderful AoEs. Even their basic attacks do a sick amount of damage.

I always used Dualist. Assassin wasn't as great as everyone made it out to be.
I'd have to go back and look, but in DA:O there were a couple of rogue specs that I took mainly for the bonuses, and not really the talents.

This class is a lot of fun to play. I'm torn again on whether or not to play the first time as a DW rogue or mage. I can't decide, darnit!
This.
And I am thinking of which paths to follow with each......diplomatic-mage, witty-rouge, wicked-warrior? thoughts?
