I started a Widow/Mattock soldier recently after I played this class a long while ago on Xbox. Obviously this combination is deadly as hell but I have to say... I got bored. The game was way too easy. It already is fairly easy to me with every class (which is probably because I'm a maniac that has spent more hours with this game than most other user would with a multiplayer gamer) and I'm usually looking for ways to make Insanity... well more insane I guess and not easier. So after a few more levels I took the earlier save and got the Revenant. It doesn't get the job done as quickly as the other combination but it sure is a lot of fun and I'm really loving CQC fighting in this game. And although playing a Mattock/Viper Cryo Infiltrator was entertaining I never really liked it as much as a Widow Infiltrator. So Widow for my Infiltrators and Revenant for the latest Soldier. Maybe I'm trying the Mattock with my latest Engineer and hang back a bit more. But I don't know, probably I'm getting shotgun training again in the end.

Both are fun methods of play, but I think Widow/Mattock= if you want to go for headshots and precision shooting, while Viper/Revenant = If you just want to pump enemies full of bullet holes.

Or you go Claymore/Incisor/GPR for the lulz. Max to Commando and Heightened Adrenaline Rush for extreme time dilation and charge at the enemy at full speed with Mr. Claymore.
