No DA2, no sexytime for him. Use it, Use it!

That's a nasty move but it could work.

Wow, I've pretty much had the exact opposite happen to me. My husband helped me buy a new 40 inch LED TV in time for DA2, and is sad only because he will have to wait until I am done with the game before he will have a chance to play. (He ended up buying his own copy after watching me play Origins for all of 20 minutes, so I imagine it will be about 10 this time). Even my boss has said he will try to schedule my off time next week to give me the most time possible for Dragon Age-ing. ^_^
Don't they want you to be happy?  As for confiscating your gaming rig, that's grounds for divorce right there.

Reading isn't manly?

Don't take it personally, it's one person's opinion.  I'm an English Lit major myself, but I don't think my spouse has ever finished a novel in his life.

We have other interests in common and he is as much of a gamer as I am, but his taste run more along the lines of God of War and Grand Auto Theft.

He tried Mass Effect, but never finished it.

By the way he really wouldn't touch my Mac, he knows it would be a death sentence for him lol.

I just wanted to know if Bioware is aware of the addiction leave they have created or is it just me.

I told my spousal equivalent that I would leave her if she ever told me to cut back on my gaming.

That was 9 years ago. She hasn't yet.

My wife will sit and watch me play usually. She likes to poke fun at me when something cheesy happens, and give me funny looks during sex scenes.

Holy Andraste's Knickers!!! It is not a woman's game!! It's a game that does something that few others can or are even willing to try to do. have a deep involving story ( that will attract the female) and have the tactical strategic game play and big boobs that men seem to like and the occasional snarky Bi- knife wielding elf or bard that the gay folks like me like !!

By the way, he refuses to play it and has dubbed it "a woman's game" because there is too much dialogue in his opinion.  (The nerve lol :pinched:)

What kind of games does he play if he finds DA2 not "manly" enough?

Maybe you could try and beat him at one of his games, and then you'd look at him and say "Ha!". Not sure what the result would be though...

lol, simple solution really, stop being such a doormat and dont let him "confiscate" your Rig, your not a 13 year old girl and he's not your father.

Threaten him with no pleasurable activities for the amount of time you would have been playing Dragon Age.

My Fiancee has said that he is dreading when DA2 comes out as he thinks he won't see me for the next month lol.
Its great for me though as I get an awesome game AND some payback for when Halo Reach came out and I was ignored for a week <_<
