I can't help it. I simply don't know how you can make do with less than six. Roommate and I have three each, you know -- don't know what we'd do without them!RVonE wrote...

On a more serious note, my wife don´t play at all, the last game she played was Sonic the Hedgehog in the 90´s or something. Wish me luck trying to get her to play DA2 !!<_< *cries a bit*
If you figure out a way, let me know. I know my wife would enjoy DA:O but I can't get her to try it.
Does she enjoy romance? If so, just tell her it is an interactive romance novel.
I used to give my hubby a hard time about his gaming...then I played Splinter Cell with him on co-op. I loved it, because we did it together. We have played all 3 Halo games together, Army Of Two, etc. So, maybe try something where you can play with your lady. You never know, it might work....or not.Best of luck.
My wife and I have played games together... back when we first started talking online, she bought Diablo to play it with me. She also played Diablo 2.
I think she'd play DA with me if it were co-op. Maybe.
Actually he has mentioned a few times it would be a great game to play co-op

No, but it isn't a part of everyone's gaming style. For example I love to loot every corpse, talk to everyone in an area and complete every side quest like Mass Effect and DAO
I have very little patience for games like Tomb Raider where you have to repeat every move with precisely or die from falling off a cliff. I spouse has the patience for it. These are examples of two very different but popular games.
There are very different gaming styles out there.

My wife and I, thankfully, do not have this problem as we will both be playing the crap out of DA2 next week. She on the Xbox and myself on the PC. ...It works out really well that way.
You sir........are living the dream!!
No kidding. Though I am slightly ashamed to say that my wife is probably a more hardcore gamer than I'll ever be... One example of this would be the fact that I just watched her play through Dead Space 2 whereas I don't think I could ever play it more than five minutes.

By the way, he refuses to play it and has dubbed it "a woman's game" because there is too much dialogue in his opinion. (The nerve lol)
I've never heard that exploding bodies and gore are not manly.

My boyfriend - well, now ex-boyfriend(God, that just looks so wrong)- introduced me to Origins, so even if we were living together, the most that would probably happen would be fighting for chances to play.

Maybe now is the time to patch things up again and try to play DA2 together?
We have a proverb: A "no" you have, but a "yes" you can get.
I hope I'm not appearing nosy, it's just that I don't like it when people are sad. :innocent:

Well I'm just curious to know if anyone else's spouse has threatened to disable their computers when DA 2 comes out.
I thought I was considerate enough when I got a copy of DAO for my Mac so I would stop hogging the console and TV, but now my spouse knows DA 2 is coming out soon and my laptop maybe confiscated if I feed my addiction too much. By the way, he refuses to play it and has dubbed it "a woman's game" because there is too much dialogue in his opinion. (The nerve lol)
Oh just tell him to go play Call of Duty or some such nonsense, lol. You'd rather be left alone to marvel at Fenris's huge sword anyways. What? He does have a big sword.. he's a 2H! Don't look at me like that. hehehe

My husband joked to his friends that I was having an affair with a "digitally rendered psychotic bald woman" while I was playing ME2. He finds my initial utter obsession with a new game obnoxious, but he tolerates it well.
LOL. 6 more days and he'll be complaining to him that there is this busty brunette your seeing and you won't let him join in.
As for me. The one person I'm interested in is long distance right now and barely talking to me for some reason so sitting onthe computer a lot is a bonus because I might catch her coming on to try and figure out why and as a side benefit one of my best and most talked to friends is a lesbian and I'll get to trade comments about Isabella with her for like the next month.
