Last month I tried to purchase DLCs from BioWare store with my debit card, but I got the error "Card CSC is invalid". As I'm brazilian, the only method of purchase available for me on their store is credit/debit card. I contacted the support several times through the Electronic Arts live chat, even asking them to add paypal as a method of purchase, but nobody was able to help me. My last choice was to buy BioWare points directly from Electronic Arts Store. I went to their site and saw different prices. I posted about this situation in the forums and sent the following image:

My complaint was that EA store was charging more for the same product, at least for brazilian users. A moderator claimed that I was trying to compare different currencies, so I tried to prove him that I was correct and sent this image:

Even after posting the second image, he said:

Hey, dearlyblvd, i'd appreciate it if you didn't spam this thread withy our tech issue, which we have already talked about in PM. i'd also encourage you to look more closely at the currencies you are comparing.

I felt that the whole situation was handed very badly by both supports and decided to move on. For my surprise, while I was checking my gmail's spam box, I found an email sent by EA one month ago. They were offering me a R$25 discount coupon as a birthday gift and I decided to purchase the BW points on EA Store using it, paying even less than if I had bought on BW store.

With the release of Dragon Age 2 on next week, I decided to purchase all the DLCs of Dragon Age "1" that I missed. I went to BW Store and saw that they decided to add the R$ symbol, probably to avoid confusion:

I tried to buy 1600 BW points with my debit card, but I got the same error from one month ago. Eventually I went to EA Store and for my surprise, I saw the following prices:

As you can see, they decided to lower the prices, but still they are a bit more expensive than BW's, which doesn't make much sense.

So my suggestion for the support is to make the price for both sites the same, avoiding unsatifaction from your customers. If possible, I would like to know why the Dragon Age Ultimate Edition is available on EA Store for brazilian users, but isn't available on Steam:

R$99,90 = U$60

Thanks for the attention.

I doubt they're not aware - or that they care. Most, if not all, stores do just that: conversion seems to be unknown to them, they just change the currency symbols beside the numbers. Which is a serious rip-off too in most cases: see Europe for example. Currently, 1 EUR is like 1.375 USD. It comes to quite a serious difference (usually us getting the worse end of the deal, not the Americans), and well, considering salaries and costs of living, not everyone's as good off as the Americans.
But, that's just our fault, right, like, why don't we live in the USA?...
