please provide the URL where you saw that error, as well as what you clicked on in what order to get there.

Resolved bug, totally forgot I installed Google Chrome Frame Plugin last night... So stupid of me.
I removed their plugin (required a restart argh) and all is working again.

Must be some bug in their header manipulation causign problems inserting things that break your session management.

If you have Google Chome Frame FOR MSIE installed, try removing the plugin and see if your problems go away

It comes from those who are using GOOGLE WAVE BETA and not using their browser

oh god, be cautious if you want to remove this plugin.. Since I removed the plugin, I seem to be kicked out of Google Wave, i cant access it no more and my invite link no longer works... :/

thanks for the info - we have finally been able to reproduce this behaviour by installing google chrome frame. Uninstalling it is confirmed to resolve the problem as well, though disabling it isn't good enough.

What appears to be happening is that GCF sends one user-agent string when you login, but then decides to send a slightly different one when you navigate to any other page. Oddly, it seems to be consistent so long as you're on the same page hitting refresh.

Habnor - can't you just use the full Chrome browser?

Yes, which is probably why the bug exists in the first place [conspiracy snicker]

I was noticing random letters thruought the pages, those wierd x and p characters.. Probably a way to get more people to use their spyware browser that so far noone really wants..
