Well, since it's pretty known fact that the sequel has been de-RPGified (nice word), I'm not really that interested anymore. Way to go.

So because it's 40 hours to Origins' 50 hours, it's no longer an RPG?

I'm more excited now, having played the demo. I believe the combat is greatly improved and I'm very much looking forward to playing the game. I have to admit that I'm more focused on the class combat possibilities for this game than I was with Origins... which is kinda surprising. I tend to be more focused on story and characters, and that's still the case, but being able to actually play a small piece of the game allowed me to get a decent enough idea of how the different classes play and the potential for each one. And that's new for me from a Bioware game.

Still very excited, it´ll be fun to see what they´ve come up with this time. I usually pass judgement after i´ve played the game in full. *pokes all whiners with stick*:)

Good news for Bioware though. My 10 y.o. son is VERY excited.

Mission accomplished, I guess.

LOL!!! We're suppose to believe you huh?  Then why the hell are you on a forum for a game you have no interest in?
Man what a sad life trolls must lead, spending all their time trying to annoy other people...

How does that make him a troll? He said he was excited at one point, so obviously he's a fan. He's certainly not the only Bioware fan dissappointed with how a once very promising series is turning out. So, please, get some ****ing perspective. Not everyone thinks like you do.

I was being optimistic about this game living up to the first game (One of my top three, all time favorites), but the demo completely burned me out on it. The rediculously stupid combat animations coupled with bad voice acting on the leads were too much. These things would normally be something I could over look in other games, but it's always going to have one or the other on screen. No thank you.

On the plus side, I can afford The Witcher 2 now that my preorder is cancelled. Gotta love silver linings.

Okay, I'll admit. After reading through the spoiler thread, I'm even more excited. The choices sound greater than they were in Origins and from what early reviews have said about choices coming back to haunt us later on - this sounds very good. We've even got many Origin character cameos and we now know that The Warden is mentioned.

Their aminations don't look as rediculous as the combat animations of W2.

You don't buy many games, do you? :P

Edit: You would be broke if you did that to all games being released. ;)

I'm excited, but stuck in the zone trying to figure out if I should make a new origins save or rely on the ones I have and the pre-made origins the game has.

It'll be a week before I know it at this rate lol.

Not a big gamer by any stretch - and especially compared to most of you, lol - but I'm really excited for DA2.

Hell, I pre-ordered it 4 months in advance and have been trying to budget my school schedule next week so I can play DA2 in the best possible way.

Very excited, since DA2 is one of the only three games I even give a sh*t about this year (the others being Pokemon and TESV:Skyrim).

Before the demo I was feeling kinda ''meh'' about the whole game. The demo got my interested in the game, I played DA:O, but I dropped the game after awhile, never got the expansion nor most of the DLC.

Now I can't wait for DA2.

I'm more excited because it's only one week away.  Only one week of stuff, then a weekend, then a really long monday before it comes with release-date delivery from amazon.

Of course, amazon is occasionally amazing and gets me the games a day early.

Aside from the magic, which is understandably flashy (But you'll notice he didn't do unnecessary flourishes with his spell casting like the Mages in DA2), nothing presented in their gameplay presentations exceeds the realm of plausible. Geralt doesn't zoom forward with a smoke trail at his heels, his sword arm isn't faster than the speed of light, he didn't leap thirty feet into the air, and none of the enemys explode after being cut accross the chest with a blade. I'd compare it's combat to Assassin's Creed, whereas I'd compare Dragon Age 2's to Ninja Gaiden.

But this is neither here nor there. I'm sure there are plenty of other threads that have, and continue to, discuss the differences between The Witcher 2 and Dragon Age 2.

Before the demo I was excited but not that much. After the demo I seriously can`t wait until I get my copy and am so happy that my March break starts the week after DA2 comes out.

The demo demanded I pre-order DA2. Strange since I didn't enjoy Origins and gave up on the franchise. Being a warden and fighting mindless mobs didn't do it for me. Felt like Resident Evil. Hopefully my Hawke will have adversaries that will blow her mind. I'm thinking she might.

The rolling is too slow and unrealistic. I guess in Witcher 2's world, gravity is weak and judging by the Witcher - their sun is very small, weak and hardly ever comes out.

Not saying the game will be bad though. I'm just saying that the combat doesn't look great and the combat in the first wasn't exactly great either. Just like DA2, W2 will have flaws.

No, everything I've seen, heard, and experienced has lessened my desire to play this game. It's very likely that I'll play it once for the story and call it a day. To tell you the truth, I'm wavering on even that.

Indeed, but after i´m done with DA2, i always concentrate on one game at a time. I´m especially excited about Witcher 2, it´ll be nice to see if they can create a worthy sequel.

Like I said, realm of plausibility. DA2's combat is just too over the top silly for a setting that takes itself as seriously as Dragon Age does. Also I never said that The Witcher 2 would be flawless.

It's really just a matter of preference, all in all, and I personally prefer The Witchers' style of presentation.

Very excited. I've been following the game for ages but my excitement for DA2 has skyrocketed since the mega-spoiler thread.
